What is your full spec list for your pc?
I've got a 3 year old I5 and a 1060 and I had 60fps on high graphics.

Have a look at the link above. Making sure the drivers are upto date is a must. There are also tweaks to make in the GPU settings of the Nvidia control panal.

Cpu: intel i5 7500 Graphics: geforce gtx 1060 6gb Memory: 8gb ram Windows 10 I have had the pc for maybe around 2 months and just updated drivers but after the beta so i never got the chance to test it

You should have been absolutely fine, my i5 is the one lower then yours. I'd suggest googling how to really optimize a pc for gaming as there are many articles to help.

Another question how much available ram did you have, i just noticed i have 6gb ram available and didnt know if that affected destiny

Honestly didn't check, got 8gb in my system and it still ran smooth. You can always see if a trusted friend gets it and ask to borrow his credentials and installs it and play, if it plays well then great you can buy it, if it doesn't then at least you'll know. There is also using the webtool of canirunit.com although it's not perfect. It says I can't run GTA 5 at all yet I can run it on medium at 60fps with only minor drops when it gets busy in areas.

Yeah i tried out geforce experience and it said i could have my settings for destiny a mixture of high and higest so maybe it was just me needing to update drivers

I think maybe because i didnt have my drivers updated on my graphics card, geforce experience says i could have optimal of a range between high and higest settings so i guess ill just wait and see. thanks for helping

Well good luck and careful research on that one bud . I got told by someone that the newest driver wouldn't work, freezes hard. He told me that based off his friend too. They also say the official release for PC is gonna look at FPS problems, let's hope

No worries, enjoy when it finally comes out. My only hope is the minimum requirements don't change, and it was only a low requirement just to get more people testing. We shall see!
