Bungie don't you dare touch fusion rifles
This is how fusion rifles should always be not the crappy pea shooters they are now.

Too many whiny, crybaby, manboys who are too busy crying "nerf it!" because fusions are "op", "unfair", "don't belong because of reason x" and (my favourite) "real men use primaries only". Anything just slightly more powerful than a peashooter is considered OP by the competitive pvp crowd.

If you are talking about d2 then the only change would be less ammo. There was times where I was able to pick up fusion ammo and get a couple of kills on the way to the other power ammo and pick that one up too.

Or they could buff the other power weapons. Wait? Fusion rifles were just removed out of the game and Bungie brought the blade dancer in D2 just to nerf it. Wonderful

Honestly, I've only been killed by the fusion a rifle a handful of times and in all those cases I made the mistake. If anything should be touched, it's the grenade launcher.

Fusions have to be in same category as heavies along with special now. The fusions performance in beta is exactly how it should be.

The thing is, they're only good because: 1. They're ACTUALLY accurate!... 2. Movement has been nerfed/slowed... 3. TTK on non-power weapons was increased. Believe me, if point 1 wasn't a thing no one would be saying ANYTHING good about them. But... plz, keep point 1. I don't want to suffer from BS due to poor accuracy.

22 RepliesI'm usually not an advocate for nerfs, but when a complete potato is able to wipe the whole team because of how easy it is to use, something needs to change. Every other power weapon has some sort of reliable counter. Snipers can be flinched easily, shotguns can be baited and mowed down by a close range weapon, and a rocket can be baited as well. I fail to see a reliable counter to fusions. If someone with a fusion is within 90 feet of you, you're as good as dead. It should charge as slow as a Saladin's Vigil, not an Ashraven's Flight. Also reduce the aim assist since it is too easy to aim. This way it will still be effective for skilled players, but it won't be so easy to use that it lets a terrible player wipe the whole team every time. If none of these changes are made, at least reduce the number of shots to 3 or 4 as 6 allows you to practically use it long enough to have it until the next power ammo drop.

4 RepliesClearly you're not someone who actually was into fusion rifles before the Destiny 2 beta. As an avid user of fusion rifles (FWC's The Vacancy, Trials' Elevating Vision, the gunsmith's Thesan FR4, the beautiful Telesto, and Archon Forge's Saladin's Vigil), I can tell you that fusion rifles already kick ass in Destiny 1. At the ranges you're getting those kills in that video, a Destiny 1 fusion rifle would have also easily get those kills. This is not to say that D2's fusion rifles aren't better, but you underestimate D1 fusions.

Just about every streamer cried that fusions were overpowered in the Beta, so they'll probably be the first to be nerfed....:-/

If bungie absolutely has to touch them hopefully they only decrease the amount you get(I don't want a fusion nerf whatsoever but we all know what bungie does to fusion rifles)

Considering it's a power weapon that's not just tap the trigger for a potential kill, I would say it requires at least a little more thought to use. But I did find it annoying how easy it was for some including myself to get kills with the [b]ONE THEY GAVE US[/b] was, maybe we should wait before people scream Nerf
