Destiny 2 so far is terrible!!!
People are screaming it, make PVP and PVE separate... They just aren't listening to us!

Eh, not really. There's a bunch of solutions to the "separation" problem, none would be easy. And all have their own issues, and I can think of a few off the top of my head.

It's a beta, not a demo or the released game. This is for them to test their limits with matchmaking, the servers, ect.

So you're claiming that this beta game version is from January? I'm not buying it. It would be the pinnacle of stupidity from Bungie to make us beta test a version of the game that already has been corrected in the six months after. Your argument makes absolute no sense at all.

You really think they give a shit about our pleb opinions? They got the same feedback from associate streamers and actual game developers and noteworthy critics at launch. This is a place holder in the time between launch reveal when they got actual feedback from legitimate sources until the date bungie promised there f..king boss they would squeeze out a money maker. I have COMPLETE faith this game will own my life for the next foreseeable future and I expect the game to have a Completely different beginning

Yeah, I have no idea but I have common sense. Beta testing a game version that has already been altered and patched makes [i]perfect sense[/i]... to you and the ones like you. And if that outdated game version is 6 months old then it's the pinnacle of smart decisions and the irrefutable best way to achieve trustful feedback from the players. Way to go Bungie!!

Listen, I'm gonna back you off that aggression. The reason for that is that I would like to welcome you to gaming. We are glad to have you, and I hope you enjoy your gaming experiences. This is very clearly your first experience with any video game ever, so I'll explain a couple things. A beta test has nothing to do with you or me. It is strictly and exclusively for the benefit of the others. We participate so that we can experience small bits of what is to come, but it's purpose is absolutely only so that the devs can test the fundamental code architecture, and servers. They are looking for glitches/bugs/error codes/ and mostly server fidelity. The build is irrelevant to acquire the data that is the entire purpose of this beta. Again, I hope you enjoy your first gaming experience. One more piece of advice. Expect a day one patch. It occurs with almost every single AAA (read: mainstream/blockbuster, for the new guy) game, and this has been the case for about 5 years.

I've played several Beta versions of games yet this is the first one that is presented to me in a 6 months old outdated version. Kind of a worthless time waste giving feedback about something already patched and corrected in so many ways. Thanks for the "urban dictionary" definition about what AAA means but that's old news to me too.

If you have played betas before than you have definitely played on out dated builds. Almost no beta uses a current build, and most are 2-3 builds outdated. Maybe this is the first time you're becoming aware of it, and that could be attributed to the fact that the PvE gameplay is much worse than what we all expected. I can agree that. However it's absolutely and unquestionably (if you actually game like you say you do) not the first time you've played on a 6 month old build within a beta

I haven't had any, so that sucks. Good that we're getting the bugs out of the way now during the beta. That's exactly why we do this

And why would it be stupid? They aren't testing the actual core gameplay mechanics, they are testing the server side of everything and making tweaks as to what is needed

You are aware that way too many players weren't even able to play the mission and the strike 'til the end, right? I myself only was able to play both one single time and only with my hunter. All the other endless times I tried with all the characters I was unable to play them from start to end. That's why is stupid releasing a Beta with that major gamebreaking bugs because players won't be able to experience the game and leave useful feedback besides the natural " beta is broken", "beta is unplayable", "can't play the mission", "unable to end the strike". And it's even more stupid if, as you said, they are using what they know being a extremely bugged version of the game with several months old. It's stupid and lazy.

"Some people". Not all. So far, it's been fun and I'm excited to see this next evolution of Destiny unfold. Is this early released snippet of a game perfect? Of course not. No game is or ever will be. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.
