I was ok with it, although it wasn't ideal. I think the dynamic with the power weapon slot needs to be far better balanced, and ammo drops need to be far more plentiful. They can't treat the power weapon slot like they did the heavy slot from D1. Those purple ammo crates should be dropping left and right, or about as much as special ammo did in D1, because it does limit usability. I do like having 2 primaries (handcannon/scout combo feels wicked), but I do feel a large gap in there. and I would run a shotgun as opposed to the grenade/rocket launcher if ammo weren't so scarce.
