Hi my gamer tag is XxMasterSensaiZ and I hve been a hunter class since day 1 of destiny over 3200 hours as a hunter alone. My bladedancer is like my baby however this new staff I can't leave it it's to fun. I don't want to make the choice of fun over my beloved Invisibility especially in crucible where I use it to flank the enemy without appearing on the enemies map. Bring invisibility to arc strider so I don't have to pick between fun and being good at the game please I love you bungie your number one fan infact I have never played a game except destiny for over 100 hours then Destiny is over 3 and a half thousand lol. Keep up the good work !
The poll is if you agree with what I think or not. Bring invisibility to arcstrifer or not to. Thankyou everyone for your time.

3 RepliesEdited by Dominator of Oats: 7/23/2017 3:59:50 PMI'm sure it's because of PVP that the class ability isn't invisibility. I don't know, I feel like they could make it work by allowing you to still be somewhat seeable but you're just off the radar. But just imagine going up against four hunters and they keep making each other invisible the whole match. That would be annoying. Unless the invisibility is really short, but the hunter needs something that lasts about the same as the other class abilities. They did say that this is an old build that is validating stuff for the live game built right now. If they thought they needed another kind of class ability for the hunter, I think this has been enough feedback for them to swap with something different they may have already come up with. Maybe they have a class ability that isn't the dodge or invisibility that we're not imaging that will make sense, support a team, and be fun to use.

1 ReplyPraying for some kind of hunter exotic that grants invis on dodge. If we cant tether enemies anymore we at least need to be able to stealth revive.
-
Yea, I'd rather not. Thanks.
-
5 RepliesNO. We want REAL abilities. There's a reason you die every time you use invis noob. WE CAN SEE YOU.
-
Edited by Dominator of Oats: 7/23/2017 4:06:30 PMYou know what could also work actually is a purely local invisibility. In other words you're only invisibility in the area it was cast, so that it still works sort of like the other class abilities where it is local and timed. That way people cannot just run around invisible in crucible but you can still use it for setups to throw off your opponents and save people in PVE.

In pve it s a must

1 ReplyIn this slow ttk it would be wayyyy to op.
-
1 ReplyBring invisibility to all Hunter classes! I love it too!! I would prefer it to the dodge roll as the class class ability thing, but I would take it as a crouch or melee option too.
-
5 RepliesInvis would be better then this useless dodge.
-
2 RepliesThey absolutely need to figure out how hunters are going to fill a viable role in D2 PvE, right now we don't even come close to Warlock or Titan.
-
2 RepliesHaving invisibility as a class ability would have been way better than some useless "shadestep wanna be." Compared to the other class abilities it's embarrassing to think Bungie thought that was a good idea
-
2 Repliesunfortunately it won't happen, bungie are attempting to remove anything special and unique about classes e.g. titan skating, warlock surfing, hunter bunny hopping, shade step and shoulder charge have been neutered, self res is gone completely and so is invisibility.
-
4 RepliesHunters gotta just grit our teeth and say something witty man. My buddy was talking about how slow the recovery was in the Beta. I said, "I didn't notice. I main a hunter. It's always like this for me." All those nightfalls and raids where people wanted Titans for bubbles or warlocks for self rez. Maybe every now and then the inviz would get a request. But that was mostly for crota I think. Golden gun couldn't kill majors lol. Bladedancer got filled full of holes by red bar adds. Then the tether came along and we were finally viable for supporting the team. Then poledancer was revealed. Sigh. Back to the grindstone hunters. If we are to die, at least we better be wearing a dope ass cloak when we do it.

2 RepliesD1: Titans had their bubbles. Warlocks had their space balls. Hunters had their invisibility. Can you see which of the items are missing in Destiny 2?
-
2 RepliesThis class is already sissy enough.
-
Hell yeah
-
15 Repliesdidnt think we'd be getting these posts before the game is out. can we acknowledge this is a hunter post? oh and no to invisibility. why? team shooter. you cant shoot what you cant see. everyone would run hunters. just like yr1.
-
How about arcstrider has the same ability as the Titan and if you hold rb+lb you go invisible for an extended period of time. And i mean invisible like the wretches in PvE. All you can see is their eyes
-
2 RepliesInvisibility is what should happen when you do the sissy dodge roll, at least on pole dancer. Gunslinger could keep instant reload since it makes sense with the class, but with a way faster cooldown. Whatever, my hunter is not going to get a lot of attention in D2 either way.
-
I'm really surprised the Hunter doesn't have local invisibility as his class ability with two flavors. I wonder if it lead to problems in the crucible, so they opted for a dodge instead. I think given the TWAB and the negative reaction to it, it's possible this skill has already been changed in he live game, although I doubt it.

3 RepliesEververse will have stay invisible consumables available for the low price of $20 for 30 seconds.

Started a new topic: Make shotgun sniper secondary?(6 Replies))
-
1 ReplyI'd vote yes if invisibility would be a bigger part in D2 and not just for specific things like in D1
-
I vote no for arcstrider. Doesn't seem to need it with the direction that arcstrider is going. However on the nightstalker, which needs to return, it would make perfect sense to have a perk set focused on invisibility for the user and nearby allies
-
I don't care about having it back, I was a hunter main since the beginning and wasn't even a fan of invisibility unless I was running the Abyss solo. Maybe they'll have something like Kephri's sting as an exotic again.

2 RepliesWhat if invisibility is just a perk on a piece of exotic armour this time around?
