I've been in this game since the beta. I've had problems with changes in the past, but I've stayed because this game managed to be good enough to keep me playing in spite of the bullshit. But, every year, Bungie -blam!-s us a little more... The annual 'Moments of Triumph' can only be completed by people who enjoy, and are good at PvP (I -blam!-ing HATE PvP in this game. Not because I'm bad at it, but because it gets forced on us over and over again. It's not optional. Not unless you're okay with not having most of the best gear in the game.). To finish them you also HAVE to be social. I'm not. I don't want to know pretty much any of you. Most of you -blam!-ing suck at actual TEAMWORK. And that's if you don't just suck period. But because Bungie refuses to incorporate matchmaking, I have Raids I can't finish. I've never even set foot in Trials. I have real world friends who play, but we have jobs and lives, and differing schedules. Now I find out that the barest nod of recognition for all that time and effort we've put in all these years, still continues to exclude dedicated players who simply aren't into certain aspects of the game, or who aren't social people. So, as it says in the title, 'thanks for nothing, Bungie... Again.' It would be nice if they'd figure out that huge swaths of their fanbase still deserve to be recognized, even though we hate some of the things they do, and can't (or in my case, won't) accomplish these bullshit tasks they force down our throats. Will I play Destiny 2? Depends on if the beta impresses me enough. But that's not going to stop me from saying a big '-blam!- you' to them. Their catering exclusively to top tier players and fanatics basically pisses all over everyone else, even though they make up the bulk of their players. (And before any of you trolling little shits decide to mouth off: I'm actually a pretty damn good player... Not the best, but better than half of the people playing. This isn't the rant of some useless shit who can't get out of his own way. This is exactly what I've said: the rant of an anti-social player who hates being forced to do PvP.)

1 ReplyEdited by joey big guns: 6/28/2017 12:34:28 AMI adult as well. My roommate is the only RW friend who plays Destiny. He works for the electric comp and is always working. I've made "friends" on here but I don't like talking on a mic. I only ran Raids enough to get what I wanted. I don't like people. Not a fan of PvP I suck at PvP. Man up and quit whining like an entitled child.

2 RepliesSo? I grinded my ass to rank 7... even though getting Rumble points was a pain in the ass, in the end it only took 30 minutes. WITH BREAKS

I dont like PvP, people or Bungie but I have still played the game for all this time.
Alrighty then. Most of your points I can agree with. Except that the books still give decent rewards without having to play Crucible. Although, in saying you should play Crucible, the game is trying to make you play a variety. You don't like it? Fair enough. Me neither cuz I'm no good at it. But Destiny, on the whole, has been a good game for me. No way will I repeat the last 3 years, but I do appreciate how much the game has given (as well as taken) in its time.

4 RepliesI'm pretty sure you can finish the MoT without playing a single crucible match.
-
3 RepliesThe same argument could be made in reverse. I only play crucible, i don't raid, i hate PvE, Bungie hates me because i only play one way. For once, I would like to see people behave like adults and realize what this game actually is. Take some bad with the good and stfu. If you don't like it, don't buy the next version of the game, or better yet, go design your own game and play it yourself.
-
2 RepliesThen start finding active clans to join. Or do something to fix your problem. If you can't do that then don't buy the next game. The game it self won't hold your hand if the main intent is that you are supposed to be in with a group people that you know and trust... :p
