The only way i can see them making h5's campaign relevent to h4's is to reveal that the didact is alive and hes been manipulating coetana

I didn't really get the impression that she was being manipulated. The Didact returning as an even more grotesque semi-composed abomination to do battle with the Iso-Didact would be cool though. But the way I see it is that they have the next game to deal with this Cortana bullshit and get the story back on track. From there, all they have to do is follow what Greg Bear layed out for them.

It just makes no sense to have a new character, "kill him off" in the game and officially kill him in a comic that people barely read.

They were very careful to avoid explicitly stating that he was dead though. I think the wording they used was "contained?" It'd also be a relatively large plot hole to have him come back as a composed creature in the next game, because the reasoning for him being the last living organic Promethean was that he couldn't be composed in the first place. We'll see.

I hope they do something with the forerunner saga. Maybe have the remaining forerunners come back from their self-imposed exile and have the duo dynamic of the Ur Didact and the Iso Didact. I just want to know the rest of their story as a race and have more background on the precursors

I was under the impression that Halo 4 was the set-up for that and 6 was going to deal with the re-emergence of the Flood and Precursors... then they done went and [b]f[/b]ucked it all up.
