Yeah, a tshirt with your own customization that has to be shipped. Of course it's not free. Why in the hell would it be? Is anyone else giving out free personally customized tshirts just for playing their game?
If you want a free tshirt, go join a tech company. They love giving out free stuff.
You can personalize it with up to 16 characters on the sleeve (gamertag/PSN ID recommended) for $5 extra. Each customized shirt is made to order, hence the extra $5. Before anyone scoffs at that, literally every screen printer company out there charges for such a one-off service. It's not Bungie making up a charge.

All purchases from the Bungie Store have a portion of the sales go towards a number of different charities supported by the Bungie Foundation, including: Make a Wish, Seattle Children's Hospital, Direct Relief, Boys and Girls Club, and more.
Yea, I just like to remind people that bungie is a good company. They seem a little disorganized at times maybe but they aren't only out for themselves. I really think activison was more of the problem with destiny 1 but supposedly they are going hands off now and letting bungie do what they want. Only time will tell
No matter how much I bitch about Bungie and their decisions I still realize that they made a pretty special game here. It's the most unique and satisfying experience I've had in gaming. And naturally it's gonna be Activision acting "greedy" with the games since they're funding the whole thing. They are a business after all and they need to make a profit.
