Most gamers are adults that play games to keep from killing themselves. Kid gamers still have joy & hope. Adult gamers hate them for this.

Edited by 10mm Socket (Timelost): 3/12/2017 12:43:44 AMI had a moment in my life where I realized everything that I do and see in my life will eventually end when I was still in middle school. So everything just kind of died for me and I became that guy with the Brutally Realistic attitude towards everything and life became boring. This probably happened because I kept thinking of how my grandparents passed by age rather than illness/injury and everyone who went to the funeral was mid 70s to late 80s in age.
-
ha im right athe bottomward slope of hope and desire, never been happier mate
-
I'm 16. My joy and hope died after the age of 10 so that sucks. Jeez I'm more of an adult than many people. Wow that just hit me.
-
I was born an adult. It's not all bad but I do remember having the same realization when I was 17 lol

Soooooo many adults/parents can relate to this. Sometimes I wonder if I've already have the best ever day of my life, and all I have to look forward to is despondency and despair.
-
Yea remember those joy days and when they were crushed by reality

Edited by ArmyKnight75: 3/11/2017 10:32:02 PMHey... everyone... we've got a legitimate psychologist here. What a theory! It's brilliant. Guess I'm too old for video games. Might as well go tighten the noose and stretch the old neck a little. Oh, and yes. I generally will not play with children because they don't shut their -blam!-ing mouths and often rage when things are not going their way. I just save myself the trouble.
-
Why would you be too old?
-
I'm an adult.
-
Okay? You're taking a throwaway comment too literally
-
lol I play destiny cause I can shoot aliens instead of real people. Kill aliens....have fun stay outta jail. Kill people...go to jail and have a giant cell mate named bubba who likes to cuddle.
-
Im so dead lmao

Edited by Dominus-Sensei7: 3/11/2017 8:06:47 PM
Most gamers are adults
Games are for the age that the game suggests, destiny is rated "T" for teen, so this game was made for kids. There are a lot more kids than adults in the world that play games. So most gamers are kids, so that the egotistical adults make the games about themselves hating on the kids and don't include them about how many there are
-
No, this game wasnt "made for kids" it was made for people that fit within its rating. T for teen means teen AND UP. It doesn't mean "made for teenagers"
-
Wrong, when companies strive to get a T rating (as Bungie did) it is merely to open themselves up to more potential customers. It has nothing to do with the intended age range.

Edited by DedCanDance: 3/11/2017 8:41:48 PM
So most gamers are kids
lol Oh yea? Edit: You do understand what ESRB rating are about right? It's not a suggested age group. It's a content descriptor. That's like saying PG-13 movies are for 13 year olds.

Yes...and wow.
-
Ditto.
-
And you are officially the failure of your generation. Congrats!!
-
You may be right lol.

Edited by Barrier: 3/11/2017 8:08:33 PMCheck your facts. Sources are listed on the site. https://www.statista.com/statistics/189582/age-of-us-video-game-players-since-2010/
-
All that your "facts" prove is that men ages 35 to 50 have to lie to their wives about what they're doing… Because I guarantee you most of them are playing video games LOL
-
Boom. Dropping the facts over here.. (I'm 26 BTW so I fit in with that's Stat.)
