Woman are over represented.
In TV shows and movies about sword wielding historical periods. This is getting ridiculous. There's a reason they are typically found on the losing side of a battle.

It's the fairly good reason to not watch TV, you see these "strong independant women who dont need men" tropes way too much. Most are smarter and quick thinkers. Historically speaking a few great women were known pretty well. Joan of Arc was one as others scattered in history. Heck even today women serve a vital role in the armed forces. Terrorist don't care if you are a woman. Just like bandits or such did not care thousands of years ago. Every great man has an even better woman behind them. While i am not sexist i cannot say i like feminist as well. We are right where we are suppose to be and every one lives the life they choose. Facts not fiction google a history book or use something called a library. Books are gold.

Contrary to popular belief women did fight in many cultures but they were exceptions not the norm and often only the resort of the desperate. For example Viking women could be shieldmaidens but it was not expected or requires that all could or even would want to be, or the Spartans whos women participated in a few battles while under siege and most of the men were away at war. Naturally though liberals have to take great "creative license" with women and minority representation in western history..
