Getting back into Destiny (?)
Okay. Here's what's happened. I loved Destiny when it first came out, and played all the way up to a few months into Taken King. I really want to get back into Destiny, but from what I've heard and read, Destiny hasn't been doing so hot. Do you guys recommend for me to get back into Destiny? Because, I just don't want to end up wasting my time like I have in the past trying to get back into it. Is it really worth it?

You just missed the dawning event. That was the only thing worth playing right now, unless you count story missions and RoI quests. Unless you set personal goals in the game to achieve then its a boring game. Since I stopped playing Destiny, I have completed Tomb Riader and AC Syndicate. Think I'll try Rise of Tomb Riader the Shadow of mordor before Horizon Zero Dawn gets released.

Id say no. I quit after HoW, came back for RoI and I'm quitting again. I got burnt out in 3 months this go round compared to 7 months of playing the first time. Since the game is on its last leg, they should just drop all nerfs. The weapon diversity would be way more fun than the current meta.

1 ReplyRise of Iron was fun for awhile. PvP is kind of in bad spot meta wise though at the moment. You might want to wait until a balance patch comes out before you comeback.

I love this game and I play it any any chance I get, but I would advise you to play whatever makes you happiest because Destiny can wait a while. Also if you are not into it and keep playing and grinding you might turn into one of the guys who just complain on the forums (ahem... the other guy who replied)
