The advantages of being an unskilled player ...
You very rarely get salty because you accept the game for what it is..
You don't bother about the meta because, since you'll be equally bad whatever you use, you can use what you want even if it goes against the grain or the accumulated wisdom of the community..
Each little success feels sweeter..
Your KD is what it is..
You can experiment and have fun. You don't have a record to beat or a standard to maintain..
Just my opinion..

1 ReplyI dislike what this community made Bungie do to Year 1 :/. Always complaining about everything wrong in one year then the other and repeat... Year 1 Destiny was one of the most fun things I've ever been part of and it sucks that people wanted to try and turn a casual game into some fantasy competitive game.

So you're telling me, that the matchmaking a game uses affects your personality and feelings so much to the point where you get angry? That is completely phycological. You are weak minded if you let a game dictate how you act as a person, just another excuse people use to justify why they do bad and why they rage so much. I wish people would think about themselves in the third person and just try and figure out how others actually look and think about them. Like when everyone rages about this issue, if you're trying to tell me that your performance is solely based off of SBMM you are delusional.

4 RepliesI'm 2.3 overall and 3.92 KD in trials player and yet I don't care about anything you just listed :) this game is bad and this game doesn't have any good players left :) every good player left this game since it's so shitty now. They listen to community of retards and destroy the fun in this game :) enjoy

5 RepliesI just made a new account so i can do exactly this without people t-bagging me or sending me hate mail for just playing the game the way everyone else does in the top skill level, tryhard and sweaty, honestly the least fun i've had in an fps in a long time. Got there by my own doing early in the games lifecycle and there is no coming back down from it. So there i am with my new account, gonna main a sunbreaker since ive always been bad as a titan. Now i can mess around, invite random people to play with who just generally want to screw around in pvp, use awful guns and not feel like im going to get destroyed, i dont have to worry about missing a single shot to do decent, its just relaxing and what i desperately needed out of destiny to get me back into it. Try less, go for ridiculous kills i wouldn't normally attempt and i even get to try new loadouts and builds. Its been pretty fun, relaxing and kinda brings back the joy i used to get from this game. Stats dont matter, how much fun i have does

This entire post is the truth of how I play destiny. The problem is that now I'm getting better and find myself getting salty as I improve. But this game has shoved my social life out the window and simultaneously built one up for me. Back on subject, if you've ever been unskilled then you keep the attributes you once had

4 RepliesI once joined a clan that required a minimum of 1.5 k/d, had a required number of matches one had to play each week, I had to play with one of the admins once a week so they could evaluate my skill, and it freaking sucked. My kd isn't that good anymore and I really don't care. I'm trying to get more skilled with snipers and it has hit my kd, it just stinks cause trying to find good team mates for trials is a chore! Everyone looks at kd and when it's not above 2.0 then one can't find a team.
