I agree, dedicated servers would help. It's what many have been asking about for quite some time. But you're also correct in it won't resolve all issues. I have to disagree though in that I'm the only one to see said "red bar". I've played on teams with friends and they've witnessed what I did at the time. Thanks for the input though.
