Like for Year 3 Icebreaker, Make it happen Bungie!
Please Bungie bring it back, it was and still is my favorite weapon. I'd love to use it again. Maybe even make an Iron version.
Edit: And please, for the love of god bring it back to its previous state.

2 RepliesPre-Order Destiny 2 and be among the first to get the exotic ICEBREAKER. Everyone else will have to do a quest consisting of visiting Xur and waiting for multiple armsday orders. Oh, there's farming materials... lots of materials that have a 10% drop rate. So yeah... Pre-Order now!!

Internally they nicknamed it "Game Breaker" because it was very difficult to design boss fights that were simultaneously: - diverse - fun - not punishingly difficult - not able to be cheesed with Ice Breaker by some wuss who wants to hide under a stairwell for an hour. If they decide they can do something to make it not -blam!- up nearly every mission, they'll do it. If not, they won't. Simple. Edit: You guys are cracking me up. The ammo regen wasn't nerfed because of PvP. It wasn't held back because of PvP. It was because of PvE. That's a quote from the devs, not my personal opinion. Keeping it in the game would slow down development of new content and actually [i]decreases the overall diversity[/i] of the game because they would pretty much have to design every single PvE mission from story missions to strikes and all the way up to raid bosses around just the one weapon.

1 ReplyThey refuse to because it was so godly (as it should be, it was my favorite gun), but they could change it so that you have to "charge" it with solar weapon/ability kills or damage since it essentially uses the power of the sun as ammunition.
