I have the exact same issue. Its impossible for me to solo que into games, especially Skirmish (used to be my favourite playlist).
I found myself barely playing Destiny anymore because of the match making, unless my friends convince me to play in a full fire team. I might be in top 1% but Im not by any means a "hard core" Destiny player. I play for fun, casually, mainly crucible. When I cant do this I decided to get off Destiny until I can notice a difference.
Litterarely every other game I get paired up with 0.7's and Im facing a full team with 1.5+ kd's, having to battle on my own uphill. Usually my team mates quit the game early and countless times Im in for a 1v3.
It's an absolute disgrace and sometimes I wish that some other guardian would play on my account just to see how horrible it is to sit at my elo/kd.

You would expect every game to be same right now. By same you know with the sbmm your teammates and enemies would be around your skill level and you would have around 1-1.5 kd every game since that's the vision of bungie for every player That is not the case with this sbmm I'm actually tired of seeing myself at the top of the scoreboard every game at this point like how the -blam!- my supposed team around my "skill level" goes 3-15 ?

Edited by Ve7n00m: 8/1/2016 2:47:14 PMI have no problem solo queing right now, I do stay out of Skirmish/Salvage though it's savage in there! I'm literally forced into 6v6 modes, but a lot of the time there's a party up in there! Especially Rift!

The only one I hate going in solo are salvage and rift. In rift I seem to get the team that doesn't crash on the spark when its spawns.

I spent whole last summer playing Skirmish, having an absolute blast. I didn't know to appreciate it at the time but that was Destiny at its greatest. I imagined Taken King will bring "fixes to make PVP even better". It was unthinkable they will ruin Crucible, but they did and they left it like that since December, 8 whole months.
