6 RepliesThis seems like a good use of their time instead of maybe some actual new content. While they are at it they can give us faction swords too. Which one should I use, my solar iron banner sword, sol edge, or my solar dead orbit sword? Who gives a sh$t. You're on a freaking hamster wheel. Did you see the last streamed content? Half the time was spent on a stupid sparrow that's just a marketing ploy, the last bit just looked like they were walking around the cosmodrome. Sure it's going to be different but how hard is it to use the same graphics concepts and just make different environments? It's like all of these stupid red and blue ships they give us now that all look alike. What the hell is up with all of these stupid red/blue lego ships that look like you are just taking parts from one and sticking it on another. These aren't different ships, it's just pieces you are putting together different ways. We can do that with Photoshop Bungie. And you want them to spend time making yet another freaking sword.

Yeah, that'd be pretty cool. Especially if they gave it a unique secondary attack(I'd personally love a gap-closing, single-target lunging stab to just get in people's faces instantly).

4 RepliesHow about a special sheild that blocks damage just like the sword but blocks sniper shots as long as you have special ammo and it's a exotic now that would mess snipers up.

I'd much rather have an Iron asset where we can do something with. Not just a decorative piece or something to use all the time, but something which speaks to the methodology of the Iron Lords. If, however, we did go with something like a sword or LMG equivalent in cosmetics to Iron Banner? Give us a unique ship, a unique shader, ect. for reach certain feats within Iron Banner itself like, "Play 100 games past rank 5" or "Target Practice" medallion for killing 1,000 guardians in the Iron Banner. Perhaps the ship could be the most sought after, "Iron Traveler" Achieve Strength of the Wolf or Lockdown 77 times in one Iron Banner which... would be INCREDIBLY difficult to achieve, but the exclusivity of that ship would be unparalleled.

2 RepliesBump, cool idea. What if it played like the Warlock class Fusion and ran whatever subclass elemental damage you were using? It could be a legendary heavy with the ability to run Arc, Solar or Void. Call it Iron Slayer or something. Bungie would need to find a thing though as far as the lore for an Iron Banner sword is concerned.
