Thanatos for me since I like turning into an absolute death machine. I'm the type of opportunistic asshat assassin who just runs around murdering anyone who seems vulnerable.
Second favorite would be Skadi, because while they may nerf Kaldr they can never nerf my laughter when I turn my back and he wipes half a team.
Past that, Tyr is pretty damn fun(plus his mastery skin cards are some of the nicest looking ones there are) as is Bellona if I can survive my build's horrible early game. Number 5 would be Amaterasu because while I enjoy her when I'm doing well with her, 60% of the time I do terribly.

As Thanatos, I just tend to float my little butt in close hanging around the enemy's peripheral vision until it's too late to get away. Or I just push them off if they start pushing with a scythe toss, or use it to finish someone trying to make an escape. I know there are players who like to open with his ult but I can't get used to that, so it's pretty much just running around. It helps that the scythe toss easily does a third of any god's health unless they're a tank running full survival. And my sweep not only has a deceptively wide reach but it also silences them. That's useful too.
