Bring back weapon reforging for 25 marks! 99 percent of us have no use for marks
Title and most of us just spend our marks on legendary engrams and we really don't like using them on engrams cause u pretty much gotta win the lottery to get gun w good perks.
Let me know what y'all think...
Some very good points here....guns are so hard to get w God roll and it's frustrating but it seems from most posts that people like it this way so everyone doesn't have gun w same roll aka God roll...after rethinking I think a fair reforge would be 125 marks like a legendary engrams cost...
Others are saying first reforge 50...second 125...and third 200...so it sounds like on each weapon u are allowed 3 rerolls...from hvi metl
Rotating vendor stock is a great idea too! I really like that idea...from USA_REAPER_XD
Another idea is u can give gunsmith weapons to reforge for 50 marks each and u will have to wait till arms day...gunsmith will give u 3 choices to pick from...from Kuhl MC
Make sure u up vote if u want reforging or down vote if u don't...maybe bungie will look at this...
Reforging IB weapons would be cool too like we use to in prior dlc...from Final Round Spear
Changing perks to better ones is another great idea...so many useless perks in my opinion...from Mr Wii 1

Maybe for 50 marks you could change the sights/barrel upgrades and mid row perks otherwise it might be broken

I'd have to disagree reforge is not a good idea for the same reason three of coins isn't, it pretty much takes away the excitement of getting/rarity of exotics and well rolled weapons away.

Bungie didn't even anticipate the problem Cocoon caused in crucible. There is a reason they got rid of this. They have shit programmers and they don't test. This would be a disaster.

I'd say the gunsmith should be able to switch perks to other perks of the players' choice on guns for 50 marks/perk. That might break pvp though sooo just an idea.

Why can't you use your LMs on rare quality sparrows to be upgraded by your legendary sparrow drives that you can use your "useless strange coins" on? It's a double play, so why not?

I was talking to a friend about this and i was thinking of ways that would make it so not everyone would be running around with god-rolls. My idea was that it would cost a large amount of legendary marks to reforge but each weapon could only be reforgef 3 times max, if you still don't get lucky then you'd have to farm another one. It's gutting to finally get a gun you had to grind for only for RNG to fuk you over once again, this idea would give you a few chances to change that which would be cool.

Edited by ExelArts: 6/23/2016 9:21:59 PMAgreed bring it back but not with it requiring legendary marks. hand cannons where the meta during reforge and hand cannons only really had 1 god roll which made some players called it bland, which compared to now only a select few players have a god rolled weapon which makes crucible unbalanced because a god roll can substitute for skill but I disagree with it being bland for me and many others it was the best time cuz everyone could get a god rolled weapon

1 ReplyI'd be down with this if: -you can only re-roll one weapon per week per character -cost you 75 marks, 25 weapon parts and 25 motes of light -"orders" are placed with the gunsmith and retrievable the following wednesday -he gives you three rolls to pick from done

1 ReplyFirst refrain from using stats when they are not proven, see "99 percent of us have no use for marks". This cannot be proven and not likely true. Second I thought I would like reforging when it dropped. As it turned out I did not. Even with an increased cost I don't think the cost would be that much of a deterrent and we would just end up with every one using a few weapons with the same perks. Sure I hate getting another Havoc Pidgeon when I buy a secondary engram but when that perfect 1KYS drops it is wondrous. I would just prefer that the look system would look at the last 3 drops and make those drops much less likely.

I agree, but it should cost no less than 75 marks. This way you are only able to to reroll so many times, maybe only 3-5 times per week depending how many marks you grind for vs. legendary destroys.
