So who has a good pulled pork recipe?
I think I may have found one but I won't find out for another 8+ hours. Crockpot for the win.
My recipe includes:
6lbs pork shoulder (with the bone)
Bbq sauce
Apple cider vinegar
Chicken broth
Light brown sugar
Yellow mustard
Worcestershire sauce
Chili powder
Garlic
A large onion
Thyme
I also added a splash of some beer (Smash Project by Long Trail Brewing Company)
So, what do you use in your pulled pork to make it stand out?
Edit: It came out pretty good. It did need s little thickening so I added some cornstarch.

Isn't it funny how a particular religion known for terrorism isn't allowed to eat pork but they use their hand to wipe their ass?

1 ReplyDitch the apple cider vinegar and use ginger ale. It makes the pork fall apart the same but gives it an added flavor that pairs well with homemade BBQ sauce.
