Challenge to all you Crucible Players
Put away your shotgun for a couple games. Literally takes 0 skill to use a shotgun but y'all like to brag up your k/ds. Good job you can press a button. You can get shot 10 times by an auto rifle, press your button once and claim you are "skilled" or "good" even though the reality is you are getting shit on every game you just chose to use self Rez warlocks with shotguns. Seriously though I see a lot of people claiming to be good at crucible and a lot of them running warlock shotty. Let's not turn this back to y1, it was nice having diversity in the crucible.
Tip: no such thing as being good at crucible, it's hands down one of the worst pvp games on the planet, if you're so good then step it up to one of those games and prove how good you are.

Urgh, these posts are getting old. Shotguns do take skill. Not the same skill as a sniper where you have to know the sniper lanes and have precise aim. Being a good shotgunner requires you to have skill with your movement and ability to close the gap between you and your target. Plus they have already been nerfed quite a lot aleady. If you are getting constantly beaten by them, how about you change up your tatics. Looking at your stats it is you that is the problem. Stop blaming your lack of skill on a particular weapon, when most skilled players could beat you using any weapon you choose.

Shotguns need a buff, bring back the shotpackage, enough with the annoying sniper meta

I would ask the same of the hardscoping scrubs. Pointing at head level in a game with no scope sway and [i]literally watching people respawn/get revived[/i] takes absolutely no skill. Use a primary. Get good.

I've been using the crows eye or plan c, it's really enjoyable getting into legit firefights without a sniper or shotty. Hot swapping weapons, manuevering, and all around solid gunplay. Had more fun doing this than anything else.

Tell the snipers to stow their rifles as well. And make sure Doctrine users swap out. Or...maybe we'll just ignore the suggestion altogether and go back to what we know.

Just because they're good at getting a high K/D by the best means available to them doesn't mean they are unskilled. What it means is they're using a gun that they've found nets them a good K/d . Also, if it's so easy as you say it is then why doesn't everyone who uses shotguns have as high KD and "skill" as these top players you speak of? There's a bunch of holes in your statement I suggest you think before you talk. ( or type ) .

I don't really use shotguns. I prefer snipers and Sidearms. That said, if you think being good with a shotgun doesn't take skill, you either are an idiot or don't understand everything that goes into being a good FPS player.
