Which skyrim elder scrolls v dlc should I get? Decided dawngaurd

Ididnt really care for the dragon born dlc, i liked riding on dragons for a little bit, and some of the new shouts were cool, but that is about it. The area you go to actually feels kind of dull, and the storyline of it wasnt all to interesting either. Heartfire might have only been three somewhat build it yourself houses, but that was all you were expecting to get, dawngaurd could have had more for story (and letting you marry the vampire girl) but really all most were expecting from that dlc was cool vampires and cross bows. Dragon born just seemed like it was meant to deliver more than it did.

I spent full price on all DLC (game came with xbox), and have no regrets.

The one where you unlock sovenguard (I have no idea how to spell it) is good Daw star was fun too I just liked exploring the new island

Dragonborn is probably the better deal with more content, but dawnguard is one of my favorite DLCs. It had a fantastic story, for a bethesda game, as well as introduced new mechanics. Dragonborn - quantity Dawnguard - quality

4 RepliesGet the legendary edition. It's 20$ for all 3 instead of buying them separately. Saves money and you'll get them all and if I had to pick one it'd be Dawn guard. Easily my favorite of the three.

1 ReplyIf you want a great story, get Dawnguard. If you want a smaller version of Skyrim, get Dragonborn. If you like the town builder from Fallout 4, get Hearthfire. Simple as that.

Even if Vamp lord isn't your thing, they added a werewolf skill tree and you still get all the benefits of joining the Dawnguard instead. Powerful weapons (Dawnguard allows you to craft dragonbone weapons and armor) and spells (undead specific tho), and the best bow in the game. There is a Dwarven crossbow that ignores 50% of the target's armor. Every target. And you can craft elemental bolts for it, the main 3 destructive magic types obviously. Dragonborn was only good if you consider the fact that it took you out of Skyrim. The hyped up dragon riding ability was pretty bad as a whole. Two things that were great from Dragonborn would be the property you get, and the Deathbrand armor set. Runner up is the ability to respec perks after the main questline.

1 ReplyDawnguard, because you could start a new character level to the point it opens then get serana. And as long as you don't complete the Dawnguard story line, you have an invincible partner to go through the entire rest of the game with.

2 RepliesBuy the Legendary Edition. It has all DLC and it's pretty cheap now. You could probably get a copy of that on Amazon cheaper than you can get the individual DLC.

2 RepliesThey're all really good. Hearthfire is only good cause you can bang hoes and knock up like 50 kids. Jk. But it is fun to build the same house over and over again and have all your items end up on the floor each time you come home. -_-
