You get to remove any weapon from the game, Which one?
I'd remove Doctrine in a heartbeat.

This is a hard choice. I hate thorn, conspiracy theory D, and doctrine with a passion, but I don't know which one I would remove. Thorn will never be balanced,, as it breaks archetype and has a DoT. Doctrine and it's archetype just needs to have a sharper damage falloff, so it doesn't impede on other auto ranges. For conspiracy theory, bungie just needs to think before they hand out god rolls for easy quests. Overall, I would probably just remove thorn.

6 RepliesDoctrine. I'm an almost day one player and I have never hated on a gun even when Vex, Thorn and Felwinter's Lie were in their hay day. But Doctrine is definitely broken. Specifically the range. Near Zone A on Frontier I get absolutely blitzed and obliterated by a Doctrine user near Zone C. That's not normal for an Auto Rifle. Up close I get pummeled by it. I understand. But from across the map the TTK doesn't change? GTFOH

2 RepliesEverybody wants Thorn. If they truly want balance just take away the DoT in PVP. Personally I miss my Thorn for PVE. It was perfect for enemies with Shields. It was one of the best exotics and they just did away with it.
