Solo iron banner players
What's your longest losing streak? I'm on 2 wins 9 losses just given up on any chance of being matched with vaguely competent teammates

1 ReplyI just recently got a 5.4 k/d with 27 kills. I dont care if my team wins. It's all about whether or not I win. If I get paired with a sucky team, I just try to go positive.

I usually never lose more than five times in a row. Matchmaking makes getting wins kind of random at times though. Losing matches although I play pretty decent because my team sucks, then having a horrible match with a 0.5 k/d - yet my teammates secure the win :-/

This may be only for the previous Tournaments, but I would typically be matched against a Fireteam if I was in one myself; they were rarely encountered otherwise.

Been playing solo and been doing fine.. Honestly play the objective if you don't see everyone else doing it. Most games I find myself pushing flags rather than chasing kills like the majority of players >.> recently clutched a game on Pantheon after laying my bubble down on B, a Stormcaller grabbing my orbs and wrecking! (I got support points from giving him blessing) TL;DR - play the objective. Makes winning a lot more likely

For a good laugh check my k/d from the Iron Banner matches I did today. Went from 0.23 to 3.0. Don't know if that was because of matchmaking or if I just went full retard for a few games.

When running as a fire team I was losing like 7 or 8, but solo its only been like 3 or 4. Everything just seems to be easier in in solo.

If you're not counting quits, I think 3 losses is my longest losing streak. I'm not willing to waste my time on a losing team. 5,000 point gap - quit. Only capture and control 1 zone for 5 minutes - quit. Throw me into any match in progress on the losing team with a significant point difference, or heavy being called out before i land - quit.

my first character this Iron Banner started off on a 9 game losing streak before winning first game. when i completed the one part of bounty (get 13 completions) i had 1 win. had several 6 or 7 games losing streaks. this was by far and away the worst iron banner i've ever played. tons and tons of lag.

I think two seven match losing streaks separated by a couple wins, I've done this several times. It's become the norm for me in IB. My winning percentage is probably in the 30's, I don't even pay attention anymore. Sometimes it gets so bad I'll just camp and kill anyone I see, outcome of the match be damned. It doesn't matter because as soon as you win one, you get matched up against a full team of world beaters. And if by some miracle you somehow mercy rule someone, you can expect to get blown out several matches in a row.

6 and over half of those were "joined in progress". I just love hearing "enemy captured zone C" and "Only 5 minutes remaining" as I am flying in. I think I am going to start doing what everyone else does when that happens..... Hold down Y.

I used to solo iron banner, I switched to looking on lfg. I have about 20+plus wins and maybe less than 5 losses.

last night. it's either 5 or 7 losses and i needed one win on my warlock to hit rank 3.

I haven't lost more than two in a row so far this time. But then I only have like 9ish matches done so far (last one was a win this morning). Already done with the hard part of the weekly bounties though (10 kill streak, top overall score, and heavy kills). The rest is just grindage.
