Personally I'm very happy...I never got a shadow price or zombie apocalypse and my first legendary was grim citizen..I'm happy that I'm gonna be able to experience some of these weapons now...what's your opinion on them being avaliable from legend engrams?
there are specific weapons I know, not all of them are coming back
Edit :Well that was a mistake apparently.you can only get a chance on one of set selected weapons if you rank up the specific master...vanguard or crusible..well this sucks
-
I get to get my grime citizen and long bow back. I'm stoked.
-
It will be fun using the old weapons. If i did well when shadow price was nerfed then i should be able to be better with the updated one.
-
15 RepliesThey should have never been taken out in the first place, and the fact that some people are lapping this up as new content is absolutely absurd. Bungie: "Why don't we make ALL of these weapons obsolete, then when we bring them back in an update all of the idiots will praise us!" Is everyone ok with this? Is it just me being a cynical twat?

3 RepliesThe Badger CCL was mt first legendary. I'm pleased.
-
It's awesome. I was so sad to dismantle my Devil You Know. Now it's back. Oh man, am I going to farm like a madman for the perfect Fatebringer roll on that bad boy.
-
Check my Hunter Guardian he's gone retro.... Titan and Warlock too.... Cheers man
-
Hope I can get a roll on lord high fixer similar to the vendor version I purchased so long ago!
-
More of nothing new!
-
I'm irritated that I saved several year 1 weapons this whole time and can't ascend them.
-
2 RepliesLongbow. Ambush. QuickDraw. I know what I'll be grinding for.
-
Nothing they're bringing back is going to change my current setups.

2 RepliesEdited by Alvin Thwait: 4/1/2016 6:15:35 AMIt seemed a step in the right direction, but then as usual they managed to screw this idea up. They stated that they didn't want everything you did in year one to become irrelevant, but that is exactly what they have done. If you have an LDR 5001 sniper that you love you can't simply infuse it to year 2 status. No, you have to find it again. You are very unlikely to find it with the same perks as the one you have. They haven't bought back reforging, so back to the grind. Every step forward with this company seems to slight at best.

I want the a.1f to come back.

Edited by MARTIN I TRICK: 4/1/2016 5:49:19 AMThis update was a small step in the right direction but it's too little too late none of the year 1 weapons and armour should have been taken out whatsoever in the first place. Bungie only adding back in non elemental primary weapons still proves that bungie haven't got a clue what they're doing.
-
4 RepliesVery cool, but once again for the people with all these weapons at 170 atk sitting in their vault....this kinda sucks. Should have never been taken out of loot pools. Sadly won't bring me back.
-
1 ReplyThe ONLY Y1 weapons I wanted moved up.... didnt. And that was all my hard earned raid weapons.
-
I'm mixed emotionally. I don't really want to grind for weapons I already have/had. After grinding for grasp of malock, and still not getting it, and jade rabbit not sure I want to chase anymore..... The few new things to do just may not be enough. Mixed, loved the game, but maybe burned out.. Seems like we just went thru this last summer.

3 RepliesUnless you can use your year one weapons with the rolls you have, than they are just new weapons with old names. Not sure I get what anyone is excited about. I would get excited if I could actually infuse my gear to current levels, but unfortunately that's not happening so just stuck with dumbed down versions of good year 1 weapons. ...yah I guess
-
I think it's stupid because you can't use the year 1 version and infuse it. Also they new versions will come with y2 perks rather than year 1 perks
-
Bungies excuse to make people happy damage done when they nerfed all perks on y1 and shat on my armour I had perfect set up.
-
4 Repliesits too late , they already pissed me off by taking em away from me in the first place , after so many hours spent obtaining em, i dont give fk anymore if they bring em back , they already lost me by taking em away
-
Don't care, don't want them. Feels too much like a pointless hamster wheel running the same content for the same weapons. Prefer new.
-
1 ReplyI don't care b/c they will make them obsolete again.
-
3 RepliesI would be more greatful if bungie didn't consistently say that a gun that I love will become irrelevant in the next dlc just to give us the news saying that some of our favorite guns will be relevant in the dlc that follows that dlc.
-
Should've been sooner. Should've had more weapons.
-
4 RepliesI think it's kinda dumb that they want us to have to re-find all these y1 weapons. I have some of them sitting in the vault, what the hell cant I just infuse them?? This is just another way to extend the grind. Our y1 gear should've never been left behind from the start. Those clowns at Bungie even told us during Vanilla or TDB how they "didn't want us looking at our gear like it was worthless" or however they crafted their words but they went back on that right away, then back pedaled when they gave us etheric light. Don't know why they can't just do the same damn thing now, we all know they're capable of doing it, they're just being lazy.
