Why do sith lords all have red light sabers? Why not black?

The Jedi control the planet of Ilum where the Kyber crystals are grown in the caves to make lightsabers. It's heavily protected and has never been successfully assaulted by sith. That's why the sith make synthetic Kyber crystals. They are fake, but still work. As a result they are all red. The only black lightsaber to exist belonged to pre visla of deathwatch.
