Give me ONE good reason why weed shouldn't be legalized everywhere.
Things people say about weed:
1. It's addictive! (So are cigarettes & alcohol.)
2. It impairs your judgment. (So does alcohol.)
3. It's bad for your health. (So are cigarettes, alcohol, and cheeseburgers.)
4. People can die from a drug overdose! (You can die from alcohol poisoning too but that's still legal.)
Give me one legitimate reason why weed should be outlawed. Just one.

42 RepliesAllowing Alcohol and cheeseburgers to be legal have very legitimate reasons. They're both fine in moderation and make the United States money while industries get to make money. The only reason Cigarettes are still legal is for the reason that it would be nearly impossible to make them illegal and forcing all major cigarette manufactures to shut down would severely hurt the U.S. Economy yet nobody can deny that letting Cigarettes be legal in the first place was a big fat mistake due to their addictive qualities. Legalizing marijuana nationwide would also be a giant mistake for the same reasons as a massive number of citizens would now be hooked on an addictive drug that holds the potential to make the individual go broke and then inherently not allow them to contribute to society and instead live on government money. To top it off after it's been implemented once the government realizes it's mistake it will be damn near impossible for them to put an end to what they began and repeal the law legalizing the God-forsaken drug.

3 RepliesI suppose it might kill brain cells. I know these can be manipulated, but if people smoke marijuana for each day of a year (marijuana year), and are given 15 words to memorize, they can recall 0.5 less after 20 minutes than if they didn't smoke a marijuana year.

Can't the person serving the liquor tell you that's enough if it was illegal accept for at bars Now say your at somewhere like a bar but for weed the person giving you the weed can't give you a certain amount because either way your going to get high As well as if someone is drinking and smoking that's mixing a depressant and whatever marijuana does to the user ( it varies between a lot of different types) could kill the person
