Edited by LaMusca: 3/10/2016 10:19:48 PMI actually prefer the Weylorans March with ambush over my 1k stare with shortgaze. It feels quicker, lighter, and more "snappy," because of ambush and how quick the reload speed is. My all time favorite sniper has to be my longbong synthesis, though.

5 RepliesI miss my Efrideets Spears. I had one of each burn and I wasn't that scrub who used final round. Each one had field scout, clown cartridge or double down and surplus. So I could reload and have 8 in the mag or always have 6. Then have surplus drop 4-5 rockets per heavy ammo pack was amazing. The best pve sniper to ever exist.

I hate to say it, but the handling on the 1k feels smooth without being too quick and has enough stopping power with a body shot.

I like the new IB sniper with Firefly and Ambush, it's just really snappy and fun to use. :) Unlike the clunky 1Kys.

For the raid Spindle does more damage so it depends on the makeup of the fireteam I'm with. If several people are using Spindle I might use my 1K stare because it holds more ammo and reloads faster and frees up an exotic spot.

I have tried my new spindle (314) on raid two times now and wonder if I should go back to my 1kys (320)? If I miss one crit shot I have to reload the spindle and it's slower to reload than the 1kys. I have 5 shot mag on my 1kys and there is only 3 on the Spindle. I also saw the streamer Broskian today playing the whole raid using the Doctrine and the 1kys. He even used them on sisters and Oryx. Makes me think about the malice as well...
