Iron banner isnt really worth it
I've been playing destiny since the beta and i truly love this game. But rewards in crucible have just been awful. The loot for iron banner this week is just the definition of trash. Who really wants a year 2 prydeths revenge? Not to mention the rocket just a down graded radegasts. The packages are also a waste of time 310 artifact and 310 ghost shell pls the only good thing is a [u]possiblity[/u] of getting another piece of iron banner gear higher then 310. I will not play the iron banner do to these mediocre rewards.

I did my 2nd and 3rd characters on the second to last day in about an hour. Rank 5 is so stupidly easy to get the rewards are fine.

This was the first one where I got subpar packages. Very disappointed TBH considering the time I put in w/ 3 characters. But I'll probably play again. The games themselves are good fun. Just can't get too wrapped up in what are ultimately random rewards.

Got three IB LOGS dumped on my chest. This time I shaved first so it was easier to clean up. Nothing over 315 and shit I already had at 320. Gotta luv the RNG dump fest. BUNGGIE strikes again. :)p

I play just cause I enjoy playing. My rank 5's didn't give much but I wasn't expecting much either.

Edited by Sas: 3/1/2016 3:27:31 PMI sure did want a y2 praedyths. But the rl should have had an inventory stat of 60, not 20... Overall, I think the drop system could use a revamp. Seventy plus games past rank 3 (just counting one character) and two sniper drops (no rl) total is just not cool. Sure, I have enough ghosts to haunt new york, and enough arms to arm ww2 Russia, but that's not good enough. But to be fair, the grind for rank 5 isn't even a grind. Alts take 2 weekly bounties and 2 daily bounties to hit rank 5 from 0, not counting rep gained from wins at all. And the initial rank 5 is easily obtained. And it does give decent loot. And the vendor rolls for weapons sold so far have been fairly good. Just the end of game rewards could use tuning.

Rank 5 all 3 an all I got were 310 ghosts an class items, I'm gonna swear off the iron banner grind from here on -blam!-ing stupid waste of time

I got crap on 2 characters and then on my third rank 5 package it dropped me a 316 nirwens mercy

Every IB I've played for the past 3 months has dropped 310+ weapons in the level 5 packages. Speak for yourself. I've had good drops and it has allowed me to hit 316 on my Warlock and 313 on my alts - Titan and Hunter.

4 RepliesPicked up Haakons Hatchet and Colovance's Duty for Rank 5 packages. Was happy for the drops, until I saw the rolls. Colovance's has Icarus and Guerrilla Fighter, so I either fight in mid-air or behind cover. Thanks IB

I'm just glad its gone for another month. I wonder how Iron Banner fits into the ten year Destiny plan...and who will still be here when the light level reaches 1000!
