This is true, do you have one with rangefinder though, the perk pretty much make it so there is no fall off dmg so I would melt people at scout rifle range. That's the only thing I notice when using my Doctrine with range finder last night for the first time.

Range finder got nerfed so it makes next to no difference. Counterbalance is what you want.

Counter balance is only for those who don't know how to controle recoil. For me it's a wasted perk. Ranger finder dies still make a big difference in autos. I get almost mo fall off compared to my doctrine that does not have it had noticeable fall off dmg.
