[/quote] No, because they stop map movement. Shotguns actually promoted map movement. Campers plague the game with their snipers and when you have a whole team scoping lanes it gets rather annoying. You can't flank effectively either because of the ability to easily see your radar when you de-scope. Snipers are worse than shotguns. Plain and simple.
