The warlock flame shield should work like all the other sheild giving melee and require a kill I'm sick of losing punch fights to warlock's.

How about don't get in a fistfight with a warlock simple fix you crucibabies get out played then resort to calling for nerf. It's pathetic and you guys are why we can't have nice things.

1 ReplyDon't get in fist fights with a warlock. Simple fix for your simple mind.

1 ReplyWarlocks won't be nerfed . It wasn't just the community whining that nerfed sunbreaker it was the statistical data whining just brought bungies attention to it. Subreakers were massively overused by titans which lead to the buffs of other subclasses. But sunbreaker was above the 1.0 ideal average kd range that bungie invisioned all subclasses to be at minus the three support which could be lower. (Nightstalker, sunsinger, defender) Warlocks: Right now sunsinger is hovering below a 1.0 kd average as is voidwalker meaning no nerf to these. Stormcaller is bearly 1.0 so again no nerf. This likely means voidwalker will be buffed. Now 52% of warlocks are playing as sunsinger so if the titan model is followed that means voidwalker and stormcaller will be buffed. Hunters: Now the part hunters don't like. Golden gun and nightsalker are both over preforming if the 1.0kd mentioned by bungie as arguments for titan nerfs hold. Meaning possible nerfs to those. Though more likely just to nightsalker as it is even higher kd than GG and it is supposed to be a support class. Bladedancer is underperforming right now but Im going to chalk that up to the hit detection being glitched which basicly neutered its super. Once this is fixed I expect it to rise back up. Titans: Now titans. Sunbreaker is still around 1.0 kd so while it feels underwhelming I don't expect it to be buffed. Defender is below a 1.0 but again as a support class bungie expected this and even said its ok in your patch note. Striker however is still underperforming and may yet receive another buff to try to bring them up to a 1.0 I got all my statistics from Destiny tracker DTR performance stats.

6 RepliesAll these guys below yelling at you are just dellusional. Sunsingers are not Op, warlocks are. Let me tell you why : 1) A super that doesnt go down when used 2) Landfall being able to pop defender bubbles 3) Sunsingers have a melee commection overshield that burns you in addition to their ridiculous melee range 4) They are clearly bungies favorite 5) Soon they will be getting exotics to undo the blink nerf and give them quickdraw.

When the other perks do something useful, then maybe we'll stop using the shield. I don't want to push or explode people (upon death)
-
Another huntard crying for class nerfs. You really do miss the time when hunters reigned supreme for a whole year.
-
Titans get a shield from sprinting.
-
Then don't just melee things. You know that thing that's the game is based around? Hmm lets see... I think it might be... The freaking gun that is in your hands. Use it for once. Don't rely on your abilities, and stop whining on the forums
-
It doesn't even register half of the time
-
Then don't melee them if you know your gonna lose. Just like you wouldn't run towards a striker titan who is running towards you. Your gonna lose
-
Self res should insta-revive all teammates.... And provide overshields for all teammates, that stay forever and recharge.

2 RepliesThe problem is that all of the other perks suck a lot. Solar wind was only really good for trolling your friends, and brimstone was only good in the first part of crota's end, which you could do better in with flame shield.

1 ReplyEdited by Soul_Eater_42: 2/20/2016 7:13:02 PMHow about we just revamp Sunsinger as a Support/DPS subclass? Flame Shield becomes a fireball that you throw down, creating a ring of fire that grants a 5 second overshield, or increased damage resistance, to you or your allies while standing in it. Viking Funeral becomes a perk that leaves behind a ring of fire on ability kills, granting bonus recovery to you or your allies while standing in it. Damages enemies that touch it. Sunburst becomes a perk that leaves a floating, mini sun on ability kills, exploding seconds later, damaging and igniting enemies within its blast radius. Brimstone has a bigger explosion with more damage on kill, igniting and blinding enemies hit by the explosion. Solar Wind becomes a AoE melee ability like the Striker's Discharge, igniting enemies within its radius, as well as a defense debuff, like the Sunbreaker's Melting Point. The DoT damage from Scorch, or any of the Sunsinger's abilities will have to remain unaffected by this debuff so that it doesn't become overpowered. Radiant Will, in addition to increased duration of Radiance, grenades and melee are stronger. Radiance charges faster when grenades and melee are charged. Increased range to Radiance modifiers. Firebolt Grenades are replaced with a grenade, similar to Thermite Grenade, but fans out instead of being a single line of fire. Song of Flame, in addition to reducing your nearby allies' ability cooldowns, it will now grant a damage buff to you and your allies' primary weapons. Primary weapons deal solar damage while active. Radiant Skin now buffs damage resistance for nearby allies as well. Fireborn now grants max recovery to you and nearby allies if used while alive. Will not grant this buff if used from beyond the grave.

Then our shield should take more damage be built into scorch and we should be able to choose between 3 differant perks for the shield
-
2 RepliesMaby the flame sheild can have cool down like BLADEDANCER and sunbreakers
-
Then the class would suck in PvE lol the super is already weak no need to destroy the class
-
8 RepliesYou do know that flame shield is so small that if you punched first, you'll still kill the warlock with your next melee, right?
-
4 RepliesEdited by Pro: 2/19/2016 6:40:29 AMYou have <1000 kills as a warlock in the crucible. You literally have no idea about the Sunsinger class.
play the class BEFORE you try to nerf it
Edit: fixed my retarded math operator.
-
1 ReplyAmazing how these posts never put flame shield into the context of the entire class. As if everything else was equal and the only difference is flame shield....
-
12 RepliesOr. Or. Give titans their earned force barrier from hit instead of kill. I like that idea a lot more.
-
Then don't melee battle a warlock....much easier just to shoot them.
-
Get out
-
Shut your mouth please hunter
-
Then sunsinger Melee would be useless in PvE
-
With the super for the class not really being useful unless you die in most cases the Melee should be good. Don't get in a slap fight with one? How bout that?
-
4 RepliesHa no. Ill consider it when they fix backstab :)
