Whoever invented crimson doubles needs to be fired
This gamemode is the worst thing to happen to destiny, it's a pile of shite lmao, all people do it sit in spawn until special comes up or go into the game with an icebreaker or a sidearm. I'm disappointed that this is even classed as an event.
Before the end of the week bungie need to implement CBMM (Connection Based Matchmaking), make it so certain guns don't regenerate ammo in the playlist and put a few more maps in the rotation and make it so you can't just go into games and wipe constantly to farm for ghosts.

If they are going to implement an event that only has lateral progression, fine. That's definitely not what this game needs, but I'm willing to overlook that. The blaring problem is that there is like nothing to get out of it. A chance at getting a ghost to drop at 280 light? A shader? Come on. Can we get a weapon? Make it a reskin I don't care! Some valentines themed armor? Something to say that we were there for the event and got something out of it! No, we get a ghost at hilariously low light level and an emblem. I'm not going to play doubles and guess what! You can pretty much not tell because my character will be the same light and look dam near identical to yours because this event had nothing in terms of lateral progression. They always have these really cool ideas from the live team, but somewhere along the line it just falls right onto its face in terms of actual things to get and do. This game is suffering for content, so we need anything, just look at the forums for ideas, no creativity needed! There are many wonderful ideas right here for easy content! But no, let's spend all of our time and budget on motion capping drake and his hotline bling emote to sell to stupid people. Lovey.

2 RepliesTruth be known it is probably Activision. They publish CoD and Destiny, and it seems Destiny is becoming more and more like CoD with a focus towards small 5 minute PvP matches on a tiny map. PvE is where the Destiny universe lives. It's where the story lives. It's where the lore lives, and it's being completely ignored in favor of ADHD content with crap rewards.

It's a fun game mode, it's fast but still has stealthy rounds and the whole "couples" aspect has worked. The no matchmaking aspect felt like leverage by Bungie to make friends and try and strengthen your bond to the game. They were being clever, I have indeed made some great new friends as I've met folk in the tower looking for a partner as my friends list was always already paired or in the raid. So, fun, friends and nice loot. The emblem and shaders are everywhere, CD is being well played. As usual the only problems I can find come from a few cheating players and the whine army on the forum.

Its called a "Hot Karl" but...there givin out 320 ghosts for your troubles. (I played just for that reason) they said and I quote if you play 7 matches you will get a 320 on the 23 of feb

I am strictly PVE and have never really enjoyed PVP in destiny but i found crimson to actually be a lot of fun... its a thumbs up from me

I didn't enjoy it either but I only played 3 matches and quit. I might try again this weekend when all the die hard trials masters are busy going to the Lighthouse. I have to pick my times when I think the casuals will be playing. Trials masters don't want SBMM so they can play with my blueberries. My blueberries may be delicious but they are not for you boys.

I must of got lucky on it, played it for a couple hours the other day, did all the bounties, got the shaders and both ghost of which I have used for infusion fuel. I consider myself an average player in crucible, barely do PVP as I prefer the PvE stuff but each to there own. only do it during iron banner and events. guess I was lucky with it.
