What is more difficult to use
Me and my mate think sniping is more difficult, but my other mate thinks shotguns are much harder to use. What's your opinion?

For me I'm not good at shotguns like I wouldn't even know how to try and clutch a 1 v 3 with a shotgun at least with snipers I have an idea

You can use both. But use well? Shottys. You have to move & that's difficult for some, especially in Trials

2 RepliesBeing good with a shotgun is like being the best at breathing. People saying shotguns aren't ez to use, your wrong. Using a shotgun is like a sniper auto aiming to the enemies head instantly, you just pull the trigger and BOOM headshot.

I'd say shot guns now however I did have to teach myself to snipe but now that I did,l it is easier to sit back and snipe than close the gap with a shotty. A lot more risky than sniping now.

Depends. In regular crucible snipers are harder to use. But in ToO shotguns are more difficult to use

I'm going with the gun that's more risky to use and that's a shotgun. If you miss a sniper shot, big woop... If you miss a shotgun shot you're done.

Snipers. Use a decent rate of fire shot gun and average impact and you can wipe a team fast. Just don't miss a shot and avoid the spawn. (Although I've watched countless team mates circle spawns in rift one manning spawn killing with shot guns and racking up huge kills. Highest I saw was 15 kill spree)

All about your own personal play style. For me, Shotguns are easier. I've never been good with snipers, tried the other day and got a few kills. Even managed a quick scope, I think. All I know is, a guy was 4 ft away from me, I pulled what I thought was a shotgun, started aiming, fired, got the kill. Don't know if that's quick scoping, I'm sure if it isn't, a million people will tell me I'm an idiot, but, as I said, I don't snipe, so I don't know. Or care really.

[b]and[/b] youre now either out in the open, or in the enemy spawn individual kills take more skill using snipers, but that is simply because snipers are long range, precision weapons, and shotguns aren't. but it takes much, much more skill to use a shotgun, and survive.

Snipers are easier to get kills and stay alive but shot gunning is way riskier and I would say takes more skill

1 ReplyShotguns because you have to get face to face. They're slower to equip. You mover slower when equipped. ADS is slow. Snipers are too easy. Body shot, instaswap to a primary and shoot one bullet. Snipers are fast to equip. Snipers have no slower movement when equipped. It can be used in any situation, in any game mode, fitting any play style. If anything, fusion rifles take the most skill.

My friend played destiny for the first time. First game he used a sniper and got no kills with it, second game he used a shotty and got as many kills as me(a day one player) than when I would use a sniper

Snipers are harder to use but shotguns are far riskier as you're putting yourself in danger when you use it
