If you snipe with 1000 yard stare w aim assist...
Then don't be proud. Don't consider yourself a sniper. Don't go bitching about shotguns on the forums because you are just as bad.
Im bitching because its the most annoying thing when im sniped by a 1000 yard stare with aim assist. If you use any other sniper without hidden hand (other than icebreaker) then you are considered a true sniper.

It's a really good sniper. It has basically the same stats as the y1 supremacy which was a beast.

I actually bought my 1000 ys (ik, such a scrub) and since I did that, I don't have aim assist. And idc! I also have the queenbreakers bow, which is a great help for my sniping because of its short range and delay before it shoots. I am totally fine! My sniping skills are really improving and it's fantastic! So even though I am not one of the people you're mentioning, I can defend people with aim assist, because they still need skill to aim. Okay rant over.

14 RepliesSure, I'll think about that as I go flawless every week. I don't care, it gets the job done and does it well. I have a 86% W/L in trials and most of it is due to the beautiful sniper that's on my warlock. In fact, I have 0 shotgun kills in trials. I don't care if this make me the world's biggest scrub, because I'm one of the most successful scrubs with my sniper. ~[i]TheGreatNike[/i]

I'm assuming you never complained about the Longbow, supremacy or her benevolence. Because they all had much more aim assist then the 1k stare and less flinch ..... The only reason you complain now is because more people are using them, if you think it's too good and too strong then use it and get the advantage ! Playing the meta is not a bad thing

no im not going to i dont complain about shotguns i use them ive just used snipers more i only have the quest reward version blame bungie for only having 1 high impact sniper in year 2 with my favorite scopes im not going to stop if i do get one with hidden hand atleast with 1000 yard you see different rolls not just hidden hand i only see that quest conspiracy d learn to outplay there are more snipers with high aa ill give up high impact snipers if people give up rez sniping

I switch between Calcutta and 1000 yard, and honestly notice no difference.
