So i am a little confused of all these people complaining there is no pve content. well when i played the beta of destiny i was pretty sure this game was predominantly going to be pvp game because there was only 1 strike and a few patrols. but i felt that the crucible was their selling point of the game because of lack of pve content. even when vanilla released i played mostly the crucible and occasionally dipped in to vog to get that mythocast and yet again to use that gun in the crucible. also found verdict / PR sniper which i only used in the crucible. There was literally no reason to grind gear or reach "max" level unless you wanted to play iron banner which is pvp.... Ok damn a lot of people enjoy pve.. Tbh I was expecting the opposite.. I guess I was wrong lol

1 ReplyI was hoping for a mix of Halo and Phantasy Star Online.

As a non PvP player I honestly don't get why people even play the crucible at all almost every single game that comes out now a days has PvP and not a single one gets criticized and slammed as bad as this one.
-
It was pitched as a pve game... But all we get now is crappy pvp events.

1 ReplyI thought it would be open world with amazing stories and enemies. Grimoire keeps me satisfied strory wise and I'm sad that there is no open world. My new enemy however is far more evil then the cabal, fallen, vex or hive. It's the hunters...

1 ReplyIt's like playing halo, for only the story.. :\

31 RepliesPve players have no skill at all. What's so fun about playing against the same computer enemy that you already know how he moves or what he uses? I've heard of tons soloing raid bosses (Croat, oryx, templar, skolas) because it takes no skill but yet only a few have ever won a trials game solo. The future of gaming is pvp because Pve content gets repetitive and boring after doing it twice. Only reason destiny is still breathing because pvp is keeping it alive since players come back during trials or pvp events. The division is going to be amazing not because of the story mode but because of the dark zone (pvp) players will be in and spend most of their time in. You want Pve? Go play fallout and after a week of beating it you'll realize how boring it'll get unless youre on PC since the mods are endless.

1 ReplyI was hoping for an open world that actually had player interaction.
Ged demmit Bungie
I was hoping it'd be a bit more like WOW but with a FPS setup. Sadly they took out all the RPG elements such as interactive NPCs and probably a ton of dialogue.

Bungie plz see this
-
Up until ttk released pve had most of the attention from the developers. Always getting more from the dlc than PvP was getting.

I knew results would be like this, but not this lopsided

1 ReplyReally? The led zeppelin ad that played about 300000 times before release shows guardians teaming up to take on monsters and never once showed guardians killing each other.
-
I initially bought the game for PvE content, didn't really like PvP at first, but now I really don't care about PvE at all unless I have no one to play PvP with lol
-
All about playing with other players in a fireteam in PVE. Nice to see a larger portion of posts finally coming together on the "Bring us PVE" subject! Bungie has cut too many corners and tried to fill in gaps with PVP.
-
Well i think you've got your answer ;) majority wins

Congratulations...you played yourself

I only play pvp when there's an event, which I don't enjoy whatsoever. Just do it for the loot. Or if I'm forced to as part of a quest. I would never have the swords or first curse otherwise, which are spectacular for pve.

Wow thats a higher % than I thought
