Dear Destiny, aVeryStonedElf here XB1. I, like many am a huge fan of Destiny. I have logged in more days into the game than I would like to admit. I have 3 319 characters, My ELO hovers around 1600-1700 with many visits to the lighthouse each week. I am 20 points from max grimoir and have stopped playing Destiny. I am sure the initial popular thought is "This guy doesn't even have a 320 character, his opinion carries no weight." Lets put an end to that thought right now. The reason that I have no 320 characters is because I am unlucky (or lucky) enough to have never acquired a 320 ghost in all of my Oryx raiding or IB (which is extensive). It has gotten to the point where it has become comical. I stopped playing Destiny because aside from that 1 god forsaken ghost, there is nothing left for me to achieve really other than grinding for grimoir which can test your sanity. Even in Trial of Osiris, there is nothing more to be gained other than the brilliant view which is almost enough on it's own to saddle up and bang out a 9-0 card. The scarab heart was a nice touch which felt like an end game for the end game. There is just no more new content. Strikes and Nightfalls in general have become repetitive but that was to be expected with how much game time I have logged. Also, there is nothing to be gained from either for high level players other than a few strike specific items. The SRL was amazing but has left for now. I am stoked for Crimson Doubles but it is not here now. Once Crimson Doubles is over, I foresee myself taking yet another extended break from Destiny until newer content arrives. [u]Quick Suggestions For a Content Drought[/u] -Private matches! I would never stop playing Destiny if there were private matches. I can join up with my friends, go into the ultimate PvP competition of Trials of Osiris and come out victorious sharing that bond of "Yea, we just went 9-0 card" but I can not test my mettle against them! All we can do is just talk smack to each other in a joking manner instead of saying "SETTLE IT IN THE CRUCIBLE!" -Raise the level on the old raids with new drops! 1 raid is great but 3 beats 1 all the time (except in common core). The VoG was a masterpiece through and through and deserves more attention. -More Scarab Heart like emblems! Have emblems in Trials of Osiris to mark wild win streaks without losses. 10-0...emblem....15-0...emblem....20-0.......emblem etc...Going up against a guy with a 20-0 emblem on in Trials would certainly make me put my game face on.
