Right now I'm sick of destiny but not because of lack of content but because of not having anyone to raid with. People tell you to check out the recruitment section but all everyone wants to do is 320 light KF runs. Now I know that there is not any raid matchmaking system coming at all. So why shouldn't bungie include an end game for solo players? This has been bugging me for a long time so I hope we can band together and make this happen.

1 ReplyWhy not. The problem is not with solo players the problem is the lack of optional matchmaking. Every MMO or MMO like game have one why not Destiny.

Edited by Rains: 2/5/2016 4:14:20 PMAlways thought the Raids should have a 3 man version, the 6 man thing keeps it out of a lot of players grasp. Fire teams are 3 man for everything else so it just makes sense those same three should be able to complete a raid without having more players.

I saw this post today and had to reference back to one I posted that no one has seen. Take a look. I address the solo players and those that only have two or three friends on at a time cause life is hard sometimes. Take a look: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/188731157/0/0

If you want single player there's a host of other shooters out there. Moreover, you're not even close to being raid ready. You need to be at least in the mid to high 280s Light, and you don't have a single character near it. In other words, even if they had a solo end game, you wouldn't be able to touch it right now.

Edited by Brennus79: 2/4/2016 12:13:43 PMAnd soon the Problem is too find anyone to play a Raid. Because the active Players going less and less. If there is a Solo Endgame nobody want too mess again with 6 Player Lag or the bugs in the Raids. Nobody more getting carried. The Problems of all Destiny Players are since a long time. -Only external Clan building. Should be ingame. -Match making is too inflexible or non existent. -Team finding ingame is worst. Only third party sites like lfg care for. This Problems was only compensated by the mass of Players and the creativity of People outside of Bungie. So what happens if these People are gone? Since October the active Players playing less and less Destiny in addittion with the old Team finding Problems the Solo-Players will have the future Problems at first.

OPMM or make Etheric Light or something similar to what it did back in HoW
-
Bungie wants the community to support each other. I'm a lone wolf on other games but had to adapt in destiny to keep up with the community!

2 RepliesShould they? Yes. Will they? No. If you remember a little after HoW dropped but before TTK dropped there was a lot of people upset because they couldn't run the NF or the Weekly Heroic on certain weeks because they didn't have the DLC and they were asking for a separate playlist for endgame for non DLC owners. Well, Luke Smith made a comment about it in one of the interviews leading up to TTK I think or just in an article and said something along the lines of "we will not create an alternate endgame list, we don't have resources." so if they didn't for that, no way they will for solo players. It would be cool though.

No. The game wasn't made for solo players

1 ReplyEdited by Cooper: 2/3/2016 7:03:55 AMI quite don't get it. Your characters are 265 and 208 light, both far away from being able to raid King's Fall. Of course you won't find anyone to raid with. How about getting your characters up first, acquire some of the needed weapons for the raid and complain then? If you don't want to scan the recruitment forum post for post use the100.io and join one of the Sherpa groups there. A lot of people are helping beginners through the raids. Destiny is about co-op play and that's where it gets its challenge from, working as a team and not only blasting some bullet sponge solo into the face!
-
Have you thought about joining a clan?
-
-
There are other forums for you to find groups, but that doesn't justify Bungie's lack of an in-game LFG system. Furthermore, there should be more solo end-game content, or at least one with matchmaking.
-
Mega bump.
-
Yes if they keep things the way they are hell yes
-
Nightfall, Iron Banner, Vanguard Heroics. You'll be hard pressed to get past 310, but this is all they currently offer solo players.
-
2 RepliesThe recruitment section is for joining groups not a wall for posts by bellends wanting a quick disposable team to carry them through the raid. I'm so sick of dickheads posting stuff like "want raid team must be 300+ with ToM and 1000 yard stare" What it should be is "want like minded people to join my group who are keen to raid and have fun"

I can help! I like helping!

Other players should not be able to dictate if one can play content they paid for.
-
That is really a good idea. Of course, Bungie would make it almost impossible for a solo player to actually win.

make this a poll! you have my vote.
