How are you feeling about Destiny right now?
Where are you with Destiny in relation to its current state and upcoming new releases?
[b]Bungie finally announced their plans for the rest of the year until Destiny 2. New PvE content in the Spring with a significant Light increase, new gear to chase, strike(s) and replayability. Also, an Expansion later this year.
Did this change anything for you guys? I won't be deleting Destiny from my console anytime soon now, but I will still be playing the Division a lot, though not entirely as much as I thought I would be when there was no content announcement. [/b]
I'm still having fun with Destiny, but I'm finding myself definitely playing it less and less each week. The thing that keeps it fun is the people I play with and lately they've just been getting frustrated with the little things that are wrong with the Crucible since that's mainly what we play now.
I'm positive that soon I just won't log on at all during the week because the only time I'm having fun now is when I'm playing Trials, and with The Division coming out soon and Final Fantasy XV, Destiny might just become that game I uninstall until some new fresh expansion comes out. I'll set that bish on download overnight and finish that content in a week or so, uninstall it again, and get back to other games.

I'm pretty satisfied. They just don't need to drag things out as much. A bit less grindy for max level with more frequent events (whether the rewards are great or not) and the game would be perfect imo

The grind is ridiculous and now they are giving 320's away. I'm patiently waiting The Division's release.

1 ReplyEdited by Chastice: 2/8/2016 3:57:20 AMI could write a book on the subject, but here are just a few cliff notes. I upgraded my PS4 hard drive to 2TB and didn't copy the game over. I still have my characters and the game save itself, but that's it. I got burned out. I just couldn't force myself to grind anymore. At the end of year one, all my characters (one of each class) were at level 34. I had all the year one exotic weapons, a Gjallarhorn for each character and earned my platinum trophy. Then year two dropped. It was fun at first, but it slowly began to look like a great many things were put in place to extend and pad game time. Bleh. Then there's all the tomfoolery with weapon balancing. The forums are always alight with posts about how all of us that don't appreciate it should just stop crying and adapt. Piffle. I shouldn't have to change my play style after almost every patch. I guess, in summery, I just got tired of playing their game their way. I got my money's worth and more, yet I can't help but feel bitter.

Id have loads more fun if i had a partner for doubles. Or could get in on a raid. But its still fun.

Kind if sucks destiny 2 was pushed back. Nice to know that we have some content coming. Hope Bungie isnt lying to us. Again.

3 RepliesI play destiny 99% of the time I am on...otherwise I am playing cod with my wife. I find myself playing the daily and weekly events more as the story is over for now. As of late I have been searching for a group of 3 to 6 people to play iron banner, trials, etc with, but that is difficult. I consider myself a decent player. I dont have time to play every night. Every weekend I am on tho.

1 ReplyThey are fixing pvp rather well , honestly I just raid once a week then I primarily play pvp , and I must say the switch they have made back to connection based matchmaking has easily made pvp more enjoyable for me. Although when the division comes out I'll be spending most of my time there instead.
