Why are people even doing nf? Are people that desperate for a horn kit/301 ghost?

Yes, some of us are desperate for anything over 300. We are average or below average players stuck in the 297-299 range. Age, inexperience, or physical disability keep us from advancing. Help would be accepted but previewing the lfg site makes me realize that only guardians in the 310+ range are acceptable. If I see the word "flawless" again I'm going to puke. No one wants to help a player whose KTD ratio is low or is going delay the group by not understanding the strategy. I'm fortunate to have found a friend who got me as far as I am but he is an average player as well so we are stuck where we are. I've never done VOG, Crota Hard or Kings Fall. Did Crota normal once with a random group who let me do nothing but fire rockets at Crota with my Gally. Where am I supposed to practice the jumps necessary to nogotiate the tomb ship jumps in KF raid? Some of us don't have years of gaming experience. Jumping across the disappearing platforms to Skolas can be repeated continually until you succeed without delaying anyone. The first time there took me 130 tries to get across. I had no jumping experience. Don't denigrate or disrespect players who aren't as skilled as the elite. Destiny is important to us too. Sorry we can't keep up.

Hit me up if you need a hand with anything, even if it's just shooting over my shoulder in crucible to get you some kills. Hopefully your group didn't push you to try to do the jumping puzzles more than you're willing. They all can be bypassed if someone makes it across. Specifically for the tomb ships I say just jump with someone used to it a few times. If you miss a jump they should go down with you to try again at the beginning or at the checkpoint. You can equip a sword, max your agility, and stand right behind the "pro" to follow them in step. The "Pro" really should set up facing the next jump, say where the ships coming from, and announce when to go. I don't think it's unreasonable to request this of them. It's all practice.

I suck at jumps too. Equip sword and see 3rd person. Might help.

Jumping while holding a sword helps not only by being able to see yourself but swinging the sword while jumping can give you an additional boost. I was watching a YouTube video of the Kings Fall and most of the team was equipped with a sword at the tomb ship jumps. That started me researching and I watched a video of a guardian climbing a wall at the end of the Kings Fall with a sword. Is it just the Hunter that can do this? A different video showed the boost effect. Still trying to emulate.

How??? I've been at 299 for weeks and can't get anything higher than what I've got. I have a couple of armour pieces over 300 but not much. Had them a while.

Well if you're under 300 light you have no chance of getting 310 exotics. What I did is I got to 300 light, then farmed 3oC on scourge of winter, then infused into my gear

I only had 1- 320 ghost so all 3 were BEYOND useful to me I'm totally serious, no Sarcasm at all!! Who DOESN'T need 3 fúcking 297 ghosts at this far into the game??? At max light levels of 316?? I TOTALLY appreciate having SO many extra ghosts that are under 300 I wanna DO ALL THE NIGHTFALLS ALL THE TIME FOREVER!! Thanks bungie!##!!!

You forgot the one strange coin/mote of light..... Or did you not get that along with your triple 295 ghosts. I keep getting 280 ghosts + one strange coin... (3 weeks running) Oh and a whole host of 265-279 crap even though the required light level is 280 and I'm running at 305. Bungie needs to fix their shit!!!

I wouldn't of minded the ghosts if I could at least use them for infusion fuel but cmon. Even you have to admit 3- two hundred ninety something ghosts consecutively is laughable at best.
