With the release of the taken king and our leap into destiny year 2 it seems the skill based matchmaking is at an all time high. 4 out of every 5 games I jump in I can smell the sweat from orbit. Sometimes I like to relax and play pvp leave skill based matchmaking in 3v3 but please take it out of 6v6.

The lag is even worse with the crucible :(
-
My only problem is that if your a solo player you're pretty much -blam!-ed with there being so many try hard fire teams now in regular crucible
-
1 ReplyAll the non sweaty players quit. So what do you have left in the crucible?
-
Yup, because of my high stats the matchmaking puts me in sweatys 80% of the time
-
1 ReplyThis is because there was a massive update in how players were matched against each other. Skill is the primary determination of who you are matched against. Thus, majority of your matches will be sweaty as you are playing people at or around your skill level. Which is fine for some, but for me, sometimes I just want some casual play. I'd be happy with two options: skill competitive play and connection priority play.
-
Well in crucible everything is balanced out. The only thing that another person would be better than you at is experience really
-
I see what you are saying and I agree with you. However, I sense no skilled based matchmaking in any crucible I play.
-
1 ReplySeems like every time I enter a skirmish for my Titan it's a stack squad. By all means I don't mind improving and trying to outplay players way above my level.
-
1 ReplyEdited by MrPoPo33: 1/9/2016 3:39:18 AMIt's ridiculous, roaming packs of guardians and gang camp snipers (just fckin mega try hards and I hate that term) as a solo player it's frustrating as hell
-
Couldn't agree more. And with Thorn making a comeback, I'm having less fun with pvp. Some sweats I can handle. But a team of Thorns is cancer.
-
Yet everyone uses heavy ammo
-
Shouldn't it be sweaty :)
-
Meanwhile, in Combined Arms....
-
5 RepliesSo... many... MIDAs!!
-
12 RepliesI dont mind if people play sweaty. The only issue I have is that in a video game where there are literally hundreds if not thousands of weapons, the community flocks to six of them like a pack of sheep. Usually because every weapon is sub par and these few are above the pack.

1 ReplyMy dad's name is Bobby Burns. This is fućking weird.
-
1 ReplyEdited by GHOST 9o5: 1/8/2016 8:46:38 PMAgreed lol. I'll play sweaty when I want to.
-
2 RepliesI love how thorn has made a comeback and I love how people are whining about it.
-
While the sweat can get annoying you have to understand crucible is a completion based game mode. People want to win and will use whatever weapons that will help get them that win. Annoying getting burned by thorn, but it's part of the game.
-
1 ReplyI haven't searched a game of classic FFA without getting top 50 players. It's pretty fun but I love my occasional rando rumbles
-
Yes. Since the latest major patch, I play super sweaty matches 9 times out of 10. But, if I join up with my new-to-Destiny, 260 light, and 2000 grimoire friend and let him host, I get paired with people that I clearly have an edge over.
-
Ha! Good one. Just because people use Mida or TLW doesn't make it "sweaty". Not in the slightest. Sweaty games are dominated by either TLW/Thorn primary and either a high impact sniper or a felwinters archetype shotgun refilled perfectly. They involve communication, and teamwork as well. Oh right, and no heavy. And even if you were to magically find a game that fit those standards, I can almost guarantee that some of the players in the lobby will be complete ass.
-
2 RepliesYeah it sucks man. In regular crucible I only get matched with the same sweaty dudes rolling as a team of 5-6, even when I'm playing solo. I never play matches where I haven't played more than half the people in the lobby at least 20 times before...
-
3 RepliesI hard scope on banner fall lol
-
2 RepliesIt's awesome. Crucible is the best it's ever been. I'm loving the level of competition in there right now. Beats mindlessly stomping noobs any day.
-
2 Repliesyou can play to win and still not be a sweaty. who wants to play and lose?
