WOW 50 strikes an still NO!
Flayer cloak or any kind...
What gives bungie/Activision or RNG??
How many strikes did you guys go through to get your first one?

Ive had multiple strike exclusives, grasp of malok, does not bow, cloak of taniks, about 100 god damn treads apon stars. But not one muuuhfukcin flayer mantle.

I'm over 60 and no mantles. Last time it was this strike and everyone was just like do it 5-10 times and you'll definitely get it...yeah didn't happen. But I did get a grasp of Malok the first time I tried for it so it's kinda a trade off I suppose.

You can farm the nightfall

Lol honestly gotta be around 100 times for me, I started when Taken King dropped but started just doing the night fall on dust palace over and over this week and have got the solar and void so far. RNG consumes us all lol.

I only ran Flayers a few times and got the void mantle. I have noticed your first heroic of the day has a good chance to get the exclusive items. Thats how I got both my Titan pieces as well. Good luck!

Seriously around 70. I didn't count though. However I've had much better luck farming the nightfall for them. If you're doing nightfalls already, may the dark lord Cthulu devour your soul already.

This happened to me when i was farming for Darkblade helm. I spent 4 days of just grinding that strike. I swear i thought i wouldnt get it XD ended up getting it eventually.

Do the nightfall if you want to farm cloaks, nightfalls seem to have a much higher drop rate for strike specific drops, saw two cloaks drop in my three runs.

Edited by Heidegger: 1/7/2016 11:46:12 PMDo nightfall seems to drop easier their. Friend had none drop in strikes and had two flayer mantles drop this week. Edit: Strikes have only dropped the void mantle. Also remember the flayer you kill last will be the one you get ( if it drops)

Dropped two Arc last Dust Palace on NF, and this time I have got the Solar once.

Arc dropped for warlock ages ago. Solar dropped today for titan. Go different class, worked for me.

4 RepliesNightfall has a much higher chance for sure. I must've ran that strike 50 times as well and never got it. But yesterday at the nightfall me and my buds were actually 3 for 3. My friend got the arc one first time, I got arc second and I got solar third. Farm the nightfall man, I know the level can get challenging as the nightfall, but the exclusives have a much higher chance at dropping.
