And, no, don't give me the "it's on last gen" crap.
Oblivion and Skyrim were released for last gen. Just one of their worlds is MUCH bigger than all of Destiny's explorable spaces combined, so don't give me the excuse that "Destiny is on last gen, that's why the spaces are so small," because it's just not gonna work. Not to mention that there are so many indoor spaces in Oblivion and Skyrim as well (makes their worlds even bigger).
Also, especially in the case of Oblivion, these games were released years ago, and they were able to create an expansive world that you can literally walk from one end to another with no loading times at all (if you ignore entering cities). What's Destiny's excuse?
Edit: This may be a terrible example, but... Elder Scrolls Online. Many parts of Tamriel and still bigger than Destiny's spaces.

Yeah, hopefully they will be bigger in the future, but there may be, as some have already said, technical limitations.

One word to settle them all..Activision.

1 ReplyWell I mean destiny has more stuff going on plus its online so it has some load screen. On skyrim if you had a sparrow I'm sure you'd get from one side of the map to the other in about 5 min...

I would guess tech limitations. And not the hardware kind.
