Bungie's "Gift"
Imagine there is an apple tree outside your house. From this tree you can get as many apples as you want provided you take the time to go and pick them (which is not very much time).
Now you have a friend who tells you he has a gift for you. So you get excited as you should when someone teases you.
Now after all your waiting your friend finally gives you your gift... it's a small bag of apples. Upon further examination you notice these are no different then the apples from the tree out side your house.
Are you wrong for being ungrateful?

44 RepliesMan, you guys are lucky they didn't decide to punish the bullshit happening on the forums and even gave us SRL. With all of the immature little children having their class wars, all of the entitled pricks acting like some sparrow event is "nothing" and god knows what else people have complained about, here's what I would have done if I were in their place. Everyone gets the debuff "Vanguard Dishonor." This means the Vanguard will attack you on sight, you are unable to use ANY vendors, and the only gear you can use all weekend is whatever you currently have equipped. On top of that, SRL is restricted along with any daily missions. People bitch and moan all year, and Bungie still gives us SOMETHING. And to the inevitable "if we didn't complain, nothing would be fixed" comment, there's complaining, then there's overdoing it. Most complaints are completely unjustified, calling for nerfs to MIDA, Stormtrance, and pretty much whatever kills some angry 12-year-old little shit that will proceed to make an angry post about it. For -blam!-s sake, I've seen like four threads complaining that DEFENDERS are OP. Let that sink in, that these are the people who are "calling for things to be fixed."
