Confessions Thread
This is a place to maybe confess something, or just tell us something you wouldn't feel comfortable saying to people in real life.
For me, I think about suicide almost every day. Sometimes it's just a thought like "I want to die", but sometimes it's more in-depth, like imagining myself doing it in different ways. [spoiler]There is no need to link Bungie's statement on suicide prevention.[/spoiler]

7 RepliesSometimes aspects of my life confuse me, and it is really hard to focus when I'm thinking about them. It seems like there are always two versions of myself fighting in every situation, some worse than others. I don't have a disorder or anything, but it is always there and I can't seem to reconcile them.

When I'm done with school, it'll just be me either having a job that's going to be the same over and over again or do everything in my power to become rich. I don't want to be able to think about money but it's going to take a lot of hard work getting there and I'm not motivated enough to do it. I see everyone as sheep, doing the same thing over and over again. I honestly sometimes think "what is there to this life?" I just don't like this world we are living in.

2 RepliesI go to a school which is mostly democratic, and their views differ from mine greatly. They believe in letting Syrian refugees in without being checked in any way(not saying this is. View of the Democratic Party. It's just an example of what they say) and more so on that line of thinking. For months now, I have wanted to spark debate and share my views, but I feel like if I do, I will not only be attacked verbally by the students but the teachers. The teachers believe in educating parents and loved ones who are scared about refugees like there is something wrong with my family. I also mean no disrespect and I do not want to spark debate on my post. I am all for Syrian refugees as long as they are thoroughly checked before they enter the homeland. Hail America

Everyone has suicidal thoughts sometimes, not everyone plans out exactly how they would do it. Try to PM me when you are feeling like that. All it takes is a good distraction and someone to listen for you to come down from it, believe me i know:) As for confessions i don't really have anything big that i haven't said on here already honestly. Coming out as trans makes me more wiling to tell people about other aspects of my life like my kinks and my inner most thoughts. I guess a confession i haven't made to myself would be that i really want to be a writer. I mean i love science and will probably stick to becoming a wildlife biologists just for the security, but deep down i just want to write the stories i have up in my head. I want to be a comedy writer first and foremost but i also want to write a real BDSM story that would blow 50 shades of grey out of the water. And i absolutely love comedy. Comedians to me are the great philosophers of our time, especially ones like Louis C.K and Bill Burr who always make me think after i hear them. but i could never be a stand up so why not take that outlet and combine it with my love of writing? Ive never really let this thought have its time of day because ive always felt that going into an "artful" profession is dangerous and not worth the return lots of times. I want to be secure in life and a job as a scientist would do that more than a comedy writer. I guess this is a confession to myself that its not that crazy of a notion to want to do it. I always have funny scenes inside my head wanting to be brought to life, why not at least try? So i think i am going to start focusing more of my time on writing now. This is basically me ranting for my own benefit by the way. Sometimes my thoughts need to be put down on paper for me to read back and to grasp them. I have too many thoughts sometimes and this is a great medium to express them. I guess this is why ive gotten into forums so much recently. Its an outlet for all the thoughts that clutter my brain everyday. So im confessing i want to be a lot of parents worst nightmare, a person with a career in comedy haha. TL:DR i rant about stuff. But seriously ive learned TL;DR responses are not the readers fault its the authors. I look at like this, if i cant keep you engaged enough to read all of what i wrote, then i have failed as an author by not engaging you enough. Of course sometimes people won't read something no matter how compelling it is, but i might as well blame myself if nobody reads them.
