We need more guns. We should have mandatory gun camp for children 6 months and up. Teach them combat tactics and gun safety. All the targets will be modeled as ethnic minorities and non-Christians, to provide a realistic experience. With any luck, these children will grow up to be police officers and politicians.

9 RepliesLook at Switzerland (or Sweden can't remember) everyone there gets a gun and homicide rates are small as hell

2 RepliesIf that happens we're all gonna be enslaved.

Edited by GameBroJeremy: 12/11/2015 8:37:17 PMUnless they remove the second amendment, it will never happen. And, even if they do, there will be those who will still own a gun.

Never gonna happen

I'm not giving up my gun. -blam!- that.

3 RepliesI don't get this. When was the last time you heard of a street thug, or mobster commit a mass killing? It's either terrorist or pyschotic ass holes who do it. They all get their guns like normal people.

1 ReplyBecause knives and tasers never work right?

2 RepliesI hate it when people go around blaming the guns. I dont see my gun growing legs and walking around shooting people.

2 RepliesEdited by Geth: 12/11/2015 5:47:55 PMIt's impossible to ban guns permanently. You know how many guns are in the south alone? It's never gonna happen.

13 RepliesBeing illegal has nothing to do with whether or not someone does something anymore. The kind of person who will use a firearm to commit crimes does not care if it's illegal or not. Illegal firearm trade cannot be regulated. Only legal citizen firearms can be regulated. Take a moment to ask yourself why our government wants to further regulate citizens firearms. Take a moment to think about why these events are really happening.

5 RepliesBanning guns is not a good idea. There should be some gun laws though. Without any gun laws, a 10 year can walk in a store that sells heavy firearms and buy any gun he wants and ammunition (if he has money obviously) like buying some candy. I mean, some gun laws are pretty fair. I mean you don't need a 200 round clip for you're gun. Although there comes a point where if you pass too many laws than there really isn't any "freedom" in having guns at all.

If you need a gun to feel safe in your own country then I think it's time to move to another country.

You have such a way with words my friend...

13 RepliesGun control is a joke. They say now that there is approximately 1 gun for every citizen in the U.S. And that's only the guns THEY KNOW OF. Just imagine what the real number is, I bet it's staggering. The people who can't get guns legally will ALWAYS be able to get them illegally. Making guns harder to get for your average joe does nothing to make it harder to get for criminals. If you have cash, you can get a gun, it's really that simple. Banning guns or imposing very strict gun control will only energize and grow the illegal market for guns. Likely leading to more guns in the US. Maybe gun control should be looked at differently, make punishments for gun related crimes significant. For example, put a minimum 5-year jail sentence on any crime involving a gun. Create respect for guns by attaching significant penalties for misuse. Maybe make part of the gun buying process be to take a safety course. Instead of a silly test that anyone can pass. I just bought my first handgun this past weekend. Besides a clean background and the cash, all I had to do was take a 30 question test that I did not study for AT ALL. I passed with flying colors.

I still love what Obama had to say on the matter (I'm English btw so... Yeah... Just making sure you don't read my comment in an American accent...) "Ok you can have your guns... But I'm taking away all the bullets!"
-
Thank goodness that I've never heard of anyone supporting a full and complete ban on all firearms in the US, which would be a policy that doesn't even exist anywhere else in the world. Simply stricter gun control, however, would very likely be a good idea.

6 RepliesSo many people are arguing against guns. Then you look at Switzerland....

I'm a liberal, and I agree completely. The right to bear arms has been an integral part of our culture since this country's founding. All we need to do is enforce background checks. If you don't have a criminal history or a mental disease, you're completely fine.

There has to be some kind of balance between total gun ban and being allowed to stockpile enough firepower to take over a small country.

17 RepliesWhen will people realize guns aren't the problem in the U.S? The problem is education, economy, and culture.

Look at all of these liberals. Look at 'em.
