It's the same as it's always been. The thing that changed was the thorn. People used to use thorn as the ultimate counter sniper, cause you could nail a sniper once and the sniper would back up cause of the burn. That's doesn't work anymore since thorn was nerfed and is only year one, so a lot of people are getting sniped because they just don't know how to counter a sniper and they never really learned how. This is just my theory because no one even remotely whined about snipers year one, and literally one of the only changes between then and now is thorn being gone.

Ahh, the team of "thorn snipers"! You brought back memories of those annoying Y1 Trials matches where the other team did nothing but sit back 3 thorns deep and tag you every time your team tried to make a move! until two of them lucked up and landed 2 timely head shots on you.. Next thing you know you are yelling at your teammates, "I'm going to -blam!-ing burn out back here in the corner!" Then the thorn squad rushes with a rain of burn... Didn't really work to well against us but damn was it annoying as all hell!! Well put view you had there!! Forgot all about that old dynamic of the game!!

Yeah I think a lot of people did. Snipers aren't an issue if you have a hand gun that has the same range, plus massive dot. Totally changed the game when they pretty much removed it.

Scout rifles can seriously screw with snipers, too, you know...

Not really my point .The point is that a lot of kids would counter snipe with thorn and now they can't so they need to call for nerf's.

They can, but they're too weak in typical primary range to use consistently.

Okay? I didn't really ask what could counter snipers, but okay.
