"Umm when we were at the party I asked you for a date and you said something about a guy. If you don't mind me asking that is..."
-
"That's quite a long story, have a seat chum" She says as she wipes the last table. She takes a seat at a round table. "Someone oughta know"
-
"Allright." He sit's down across from her grabbing his tea

"Our story begins with a girl, young, naive about the world around yet ever ambitious to trek across it. Her life couldn't be more set, her future more sure, all she had to do was stick to the path that has been set out before her and not stray. Along this path she meets a boy, they both become completely infatuated and continue along together. Our problems begin when our heroin continues to walk down the trail, every step of the way only makes her realize more and more that she does not like the destination, at least not as much as she thought she would. As her journey continues she becomes more and more ambivalent about her set path, surely she couldn't stray from it and disappoint everyone ... "

He seems intrigued as she talks thinking and drinking his tea

" .. Her mother would be furious, there are no words that could describe the animosity that would result. Her father would be disappointed, the thought of his sadness alone is one that haunts her. But most of all, she didn't want to lose this boy, she didn't want to leave him behind, but she just might have to. Her choices are to stay with the path that's been pre destined for her and live a life as a conformist with little bits of comfort to alleviate, or to abandon it and accept all the consequences and all the risks that would follow. And so she strayed and became a vagabond. Of course she didn't leave without speaking to the boy however, oh how it did fracture him, it did. But even as she began to walk away from the trail and become a blur on the horizon, he wished her luck, with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes .. "

He looks more intrested than before hanging on by every word

" She wandered far and across, not a home and stealing to get her next meal. But she could not have been more content with her new life, it was different, exciting. But no matter how much she tried to bury it, the thought always came to her, haunted her, what of the boy. Eventually she went back, not say hello, nor to try to reunite, but only to make sure he was doing fine after what she put him through. Only she went to find him gone, only a note for our heroin was left: 'I don't know if you'll ever read this, doubt it, but in case it ever happens I write this. Thank you, had I not met you I would not have had the courage I needed to make my own decisions, to carve my own place in the world. Thank you for every bit of happiness and joy you gave to me for the time we spent together, I will treasure your memory and always keep it as an inspiration. You don't need me, you never did, even though I still apologize for whatever sadness this may bring you, but I too have decided to leave this life of conformity. I;ll be fine, as well you. Go and make your own stories, and i will make mine' "
-
He thinks for a second more "I'm sorry revy. That's something most shouldn't go through."
-
She smiles, a smile with a hint of sadness. "Oh it's fine. What's life without a bit of bitterness right? I made a decision, people who make decisions have the responsibility of going through with them, it's just sometimes you're only given shitty decisions, even ones you make yourself"
-
He doesn't know how to respond as he just stares at the table thinking of anything to say. Yet he can't find the words so he just sit's there staring at his fists on the table finally realizing how much damage the removal of his ring fonger did
-
"Sheesh, don't get gloomy all of a sudden, let these things poke your noggin too much and you'll get gray hairs before you're even thirty" She says with a smile to rid the sad tone of the conversation.
-
"Huh. Uh yeah." He gives a smile back as fake as it may be "So anyway I should probably go don't want to take any of your time."
-
"Drive safely, and thanks for the gift. You really didn't need to"
-
"Yeah well I didn't want to risk ruining our friendship" He says as he laughs getting up and starts to walk out
