Played your game since day one, stuck with all the bullshit through vanilla, TDB, HoW, and some of TTK. I thought TTK really changed the game and you guys got on the right track. But instead, you guys made the grind even rougher to compensate for the ultimate lack of content! No Nightfall XP buff, less XP from bounties, no more elemental primaries, double RNG from hard raid drops, not giving proper light level gear from HARD bosses, and the fact that you can come up EMPTY-HANDED from a freaking HARD raid boss is despicable. Don't make me bring up weapon parts.
And microtransactions. Awful. Like you guys needed more cash. Plus, you're gonna continue with the paid DLC? Unbelievable. I am done supporting this game.

5 RepliesCouldn't agree more. Taken King was the last straw for me. I feel like destiny is only getting worse, and worse. I would much rather have the old kind of destiny like in year one. The new "amazing narrative story" that is really just like 3 cutscenes that are barely interesting, and dialogue that is really just a bunch of cheesy one-liners. The raid is not nearly as rewarding as it should be. You kill oryx, this big bad that nobody else wants to mess with, and nothing happens. No cutscene of the city celebrating, and the speaker, who's supposed to be like yoda or something doesn't even appear in the dlc. The missions are still noncreative, and "go from point a to point b" style. The subclass missions are in barely remodeled crucible maps. Doesn't get any lazier than that. But this is destiny, so they'll think of something lazier, and they did exactly that by making half their quest steps are just an endless grind. The exotic swords, the touch of malice, the normal swords, the class-specific exotics and legendaries, and Boolean Gemini. There are about 10 minutes of cutscenes in destiny, whereas ANY other game has easily over 2 hours of cutscenes. The game is simply not worth it.

10 RepliesI quit Destiny a little over three weeks ago. The economy nerf was actually the day I uninstalled. You're right, year one was bad but year two takes abusive and turns it into sadism. Ignore the cheerleaders, they are the submissives that the sadist system is built in mind for.

1 ReplyMy biggest gripe, not that yours are not accurate, is that Bungie has made their normal Kingsfall raid obsolete. In VOG and Crota, you had different weapons in normal and hard. The weapons are no different here. They have higher stats in hard mode. So everyone is running hard mode. I find it more and more difficult to find good groups to run normal with. I'm surprised I do not see more people pointing that out.

2 RepliesYou know most of these posts are from 13 year olds with no constructive feedback/criticism "threatening" Bungie that they're going to quite playing Destiny if they don't fix this, that, and this RIGHT NOW AND RIGHT HERE. When in reality, they're just going to keep playing Destiny while complaining.... Just a bunch of spoiled little brats that can't have their way like when they cry to their mom and dad that their egg wasn't cooked right and demanding another egg.

Part of me was actually hoping that Bungie and Activision would really have got their act together by now. I thought I'd start seeing posts saying 'Woah! This game is finally awesome!'. Instead, I see the same complaints. The same problems over and over again. Just like the endless grinds in the game itself. 6 Repliesif TTK is on sale on Black Friday, should I buy it? I used to play this game non stop but I wasn't going to pay 40$ for content I should have gotten at launch. I kinda want to experience some new content though. But it sounds like you guys have it rough.

1 ReplyI quit destiny for HoW. Got excited with the TTK. Now, I'm about to quit definitely destiny. After two hours of trying to beat Hm oryx what d o I get? A 309 raid assault rifle with perks that take its stability almost to the max but it doesn't have any effect whatsoever in its recoil... plus its no elemental damage. The raid primaries are crap. I could get over the fact that they don't have elemental damage if they were better... and don't get me started with the PULSE-cible... right now the only viable weapons are PR's. The drops in general are terrible. And the grind... oh the grind... not to mention the greed.
