Let's pretend everyone is competent and aware of what they are doing at any given time during the raid (meaning the chance of dying is slim to none).
Now let's say I'm a Titan or Hunter and we are raiding and I neither die, nor use my super. Did I really help my team to my full potential?
Answer: No. Why you ask? Well I could have used my super and spawned orbs and we could have cascaded off the orbs.
Why is that answer different just because you're a self reviving warlock?

Self Rez is just a crutch the whole raid is about DPS and Hunter and Titans have more DPS than warlocks. Why have a crutch when you're good? Weapons of light and tether is the best combowombo in the game.

Tether + Nova Bomb = Total annihilation

Alright I'll bite. I'm gonna try this next Time I raid with warlock

Let the hunter tether a large group of adds then follow if up with a nova bomb. Everything will be dead and there will be 14 orbs on the ground plus the warlock should have another super ready to go.

Use obsidian mind on top of that works so well
