Observes reply posters head literally explode when confronted with the possibility that reality may be a digital simulation. Does not bother shaking head or walking away. Time, space, and distance are only an illusion and irrelevant.

Well, its a little more complex then that, the Matrix being a simplification of the overall philosophy. With the absence of an avatar or multiple avatars it may be that reality and its components, i.e. us, aren't "within" but potentially "are" the matrix.
